I went to the doctor with what I thought was a bladder infection.  I had all the symptoms except the pain.  Turns out I have an enlarged prostate that they will need to do surgery on to trim if down a little.  Thank goodness no cancer.  I go to the hospital Tuesday morning, and I will need to spend the night so they can monitor the bleeding.  If all looks good I can come back home sometime Wednesday.

Glad it wasn't something more serious.  It will be nice to have that taken care of.  Here's to a smooth procedure!

I’m praying for you. That’s a miserable situation you’re in right now, but it won’t be long till you’re peeing over the fence.

good luck my friend

Thanks everyone!

I don't mind going in for a trim, but I want to come home with all of my original equipment.

Hope all goes well.  I assume you aren't on blood thinners.  That's a plus.

Personally at the point where I need to consider getting something done with my prostrate so I can do more than dribble.  :(  😨  And I ain't talking basketball.

I don't know anything about how your operation will be done, but I shaved my chest when I was in the hospital for my brain tumor.  Made the nurses job easier and caused me less pain.  And shaving wasn't painful unlike what Steve Carell endured in "The 40 Year Old Virgin".  🤣

Just seeing this @Bankbeater. I’ll be praying for you, your family and your surgical team.

I'm back home and on the mend.  Came home Wednesday afternoon with a list of things to do and things not to do.  Big one is to keep drinking water and keep everything hydrated.  The other big thing is not to lift anything more than 10 lbs for the next two weeks.

  :teeth:   Glad the operation went well.  Be good to yourself, and be on the water next spring.
