Featured Replies

In the middle of a tackle warehouse splurge. Looking to expand my jig arsenal. Ive had some luck recently with the berkley flipping jigs with a craw trailer. Whats your go to jig and trailer?

Hello and Welcome to Bass Resource ~

The 6th Sense Divine Hybrid Jig is decent.

A cross between a structure jig, grass jig, and football jig, the unique head shape is what makes its high level of versatility possible.

Also equipped with a stout hook for solid hooksets and horsing big fish out of cover,

it comes equipped with a precisely fitted fiber weed guard and a sturdy barbed keeper.

I'll hang a craw, a small creature-type trailer and even a paddletail.

This jig loves them all equally.

I have a few of those jigs. They are good jigs for sure. Normally with a Rage Craw or Menace trailer.

From TW Strike King Hackney FC flipping jig, compact size.

Santone  San Rayborn jig, good all around design with Gamakatsu hook.

AJ’s suggestion looks good!

PS, also look at site sponsor Seibert Outdoors has a good selection of jigs👍

I fish Siebert Outdoors jigs  exclusively. Not only being a member sponsor here his jigs are outstanding quality and components.
The selection is astounding with choice of heads, hooks, weights and skirts is virtually any color combination. His spinner blades are exceptional also

My favorites; swim jig DockRocker and the Shot caller.

This. Siebert’s quality is fantastic and so is the price. His hand tied skirts are beautiful and he has so many options it’ll make your head spin!

As I have mentioned several times on this site, I have been using the Trailer Hitch jig made by Oldham's Jigs for over 25+ years. I can attest that they are first class quality at a very affordable price.

The Eye Max Jig is the best grass jig I have used for punching.

I noticed this past week Oldham's is now offering a tungsten model jig.

The jigs I use include Strike King, Booyah, and Outcast.  Most of the time the trailer I'm using is a Super Chunk or Super Chunk Jr., but when I need a small profile I put on a Netbaits Tiny Paca Chunk.

A lot of the time I will use a Senko or a plastic worm as a trailer when they get too beat up to stay on a worm hook.

My favorite all purpose jig right now is the Matt Herren Flippin' Jig from Dirty Jigs (I personally like the 3/8oz size). Great colors, powder coated head so it won't chip as easy, good components, and pairs great with a 3.5" Adrenaline Craw or a Crush City Cleanup Craw.

Beast Coast Lil' Magnum Jigs. Great colors, tungsten, good around cover, double wire trailer keeper, solid hook, and a nice compact profile. I can use a smaller grub or a finesse trailer and trim the skirt, or use a normal size trailer and it's just a nice overall jig.

Only jigs in my box are Siebert Outdoors. The Brush style head is my favorite.

Dirty Jigs California swim jig

Evergreen grass ripper

Bass Patrol football

Keitech tungsten football

Keitech tungsten casting

Molix nano jig

TW doesn't sell my favorite anymore, Dobyns extreme football. Amazon has them and sometimes stupid cheap like $1.50 each in a 3 pack.

Sieberts Dredge Brush Jig is phenomenal working in/around laydowns, brush, branches, etc. I use the 3/8 mostly and can almost NOT get it to get stuck.

Lately a lot of Xzone Adrenaline Craw jr. 3.5 inch. Have used 3.25 Muscle Back craw for a little more flapping action too..

Brush style head used to be my favorite as well. It’s great for fishing around laydowns and, well, you guessed it, brush! It’s not the best coming through grass though. That’s the only downside, but that’s why Siebert has a grass head! 😁

Sieberts.  Mike’s jigs w are awesome.  If he doesn’t have a style to cover your needs no one does.  His brush jigs and live rubber flipping jigs are standouts.  His color options are fantastic. Well you get it.  When jigs meet perfection.
