I completely agree with everything you've said about the Expride B, I do own a Expride A myself and while the Expride B is a bit better. Expride A is still somewhat cool though.

Not so sure about the hook keeper on the B, but it's OK.

Oh yeah, I still love the A's too.

A little family photo......My girl thinks I have a rod problem and I told her she was right. My problem is I need another Rod-Runner to carry them all. Each one has its place and I can fish almost any presentation. I do need a frog setup though. I do not want to switch out my punch setup (super grip) every time I want to toss a frog.

What do you think about the Fury’s vs the victory’s?

I dunno about him - but the Victorys outshine the Furys in every aspect...even dropping to the Mojo from St Croix is an improvement over the Furys.

Yes, I have rods from all three lines.

If that's the base weight without plastics...I'd go with the Medium.

Organizing some storage and came across these I had forgot about, they still have the factory label on the spool and have never been used to this day, back in they go I guess.

Just like @papajoe222, if they weren't lefty, I would be all up in your DMs.

Last winter I saw numerous TD-Z's on ebay for cheap (under $200).  Fun fact, the TD-Z retailed for $349.99, and according to google....$350 in 2003 would equate to $580 in buying power today.

And the R+ was $550 MSRP back in 2004 when it was released in Japan,

Which would be around $888 today.

TD-Z can still be had for the sub $200 range but at that price they are obviously well used though.

I have a few currently that are being Cerakoted and converted to 7.1:1 gears.

I do have NIB RH models but like the LH versions they aren't for sale.

I'm an imx-pro fan...have a couple cbr's.  Getting ready to add the 841.  I do think this series shows the Loomis name/warranty is worth a 30% price hike over comparable models.

oh yeah the IMX Pro rods are incredible.

i have never fished with anything higher level than this but there was a post the other day on Youtube talking about how the IMX's are a lot of bang for the buck when you compare them to NRX+ rods that are a lot more money.

Teaser video of one of my TDZ's getting ready for the Cerakote process, I'm retaining the "Type R+" logo which was silk screened from the factory and subsequently removed when sand blasting the reel, by laser etching it in then color filling it in with red, the reel itself will be satin black, with red accents throughout.

The second TDZ will be satin pearl white with gloss black accents.
