Eric 26
2 hours ago, Cbump said: Tell more about that reel. @Eric 26 @Cbump First off I apologize to both you and everyone else on this thread if this is too long winded. Ok so I became intrigued after receiving an online ad shortly after the holidays (which may have been on this site at the bottom of the pages) from Nako. My first stop was the Nako website which I will not lie I’m still confused if they are distributing or helping provide materials or are somehow affiliated with Dream Tackle Design, either way I then hit YouTube and found “The Reel Test” did 2 reviews referring to this reel as a bfs Okuma Hakai which Dream Tackle provided the spool for the Hakai as best I can tell. From there because I received a gift certificate to Amazon for Christmas and saw they are selling this reel (Formula D Power Finesse) even though I was searching other options. After placing the order I believe Nako shipped it directly from their warehouse as I received it via USPS, it came out of Tennessee but I believe that is strictly for shipping purposes. I know somewhere on this site there is a thread involving Nako products if not a review from one of the moderators. The reel itself is made in China with a magnesium body a spool design I’ve never used and magnetic brakes. All the specs are on Amazon and again I’ve only seen the reviews I’ve mentioned on YouTube. Lastly I paid $151.00 and change shipped to my mailbox so I’m pretty happy so far. They (Amazon) are showing the availability of 1 left hand in 8:1 (blue accents) and several 7:3 models (red accents) in both left and right. 2 hours ago, Cbump said: Tell more about that reel. @Eric 26 @Cbump First off totally digging your collection ??. Cbump
Thanks Eric! I wish my pictures didn’t show up blurry on here. I promise they are good pics! Problem with my collection is there’s so many versatile rods that’s I don’t end up using a lot of them!

I’ve said it several times on here and to my wonderful wife, “my growing collection is my future retirement because I won’t be able to afford/justify it on a fixed income” and I’m sticking with that motto? P.S. I’m not finding your photos any blurrier than mine.
msgf91
Added another St. Croix rod, Avid Walleye 6'8 M XF with a Tatula LT 2500 Shallow Spool. I like shorter M power rods for drop shot so I'll be trying it out for that.

Jigs? Heavier t-rigs? I've been wanting to try the Extreme but can't decided between the 745 and 746.

I've been wanting to try the Extreme but can't decided between the 745 and 746. Keep in mind I like a more powerful rod than most do. My preference is always thin, light rods, with lots of power. I mainly use It for 1/2 oz weight Texas rigs with a rage bug type bait or 10” power worm. Right now I have a half oz jig with sweet beaver trailer tied on. I’ll never use anything up to 2oz on It but It handles these extremely well. I had a 745 for the same things broke It so when I replaced It I got the 746 for more power. I prefer It.
newapti5
Just "pimped out" my Metanium a bit. This Gomexus drag star fits the reel perfectly, and the color matches the Jitai carbon knobs' color pretty well.

Wish the it was a lil longer, 7ft like the new US steez ags sensor. Other than that I'm happy with it. How are you liking the Blackjack? Do you own "The Sensor" as well? I'm currently debating between these two rods ?

Not enough rods released and doesn't seem to be any new tech unless I missed something. There are so many amazing looking, and unique rods in the '21 JDM Steez ags line though. I've been drooling over quite a few of them.

I use it mainly for 3/16-1/4 oz texas rig, free rig and weightless baits like D Shad, dolive stick fat. It has fast to slow dual taper found on many JDM sticks. I mainly didn't realize I was low on line, so I just had to pickup a small spool for the time being. Normally I have a couple bulk spools around, obviously I didn't remember to order line last fall sale. I mainly use Copolymer line on my rods except for my one frog setup.
Cbump
Wanted another pitching setup that was shorter than my current ones so got the Champ 684c paired with Curado 200 7.4. Sold a head Turner before and it’s truly the only rod I’ve ever regretted getting rid of. So got another one for spinnerbaits. Paired with Curado 150mgl 6.2
