We haven't done this for a while
When i finally joined the world with the innerwebs, this was the first bass site i clicked on. Returned a few times and decided to join, and lived in the 313. There's alot of good people doing good things in that town. I wished them the best and moved to the 'burb 6 yrs. ago. Quit the Lions tickets in 2015, (after 35 yrs.) and now only visit detroit for jury duty.

Finally Giving-up on BASS MAFIA BAIT COFFIN 3700 - Any Terminal Tackle Storage Recs?
Thanks for sharing Ajay. First 2 weeks of April was my best fishing this year. (bladed jig) Sux you still had hard water. ☹️ Having extra spools in the boat a big plus, i wished i had some..

Finally Giving-up on BASS MAFIA BAIT COFFIN 3700 - Any Terminal Tackle Storage Recs?
I don't carry 3 yrs. worth of terminal tackle on my boat, so i get by using a 360 sized box. I got a 100 pk. of poly zip-lok bags (2" x 3") for under $2 (Netcraft) that i put my hooks, swivels, snaps, hitch-hikers, etc. in, it works for me. The only rusty hooks i get is because of not taking off that salty soft plastic at the end of the day. I ain't fancy...

Techniques Where FC Main Line Is A Must ?
I use flouro for leader material only. I have not tried it for mainline for years, and won't any time soon. I don't use my line to help my bait's sinking ability, rate of fall, or to help keep it on the bottom. That is why we have different choices with lure or weight weight. (?) If it's not braid, it's XL for my mainline. I am old AND cheap, and i will never buy any type of line "conditioner".

Recommended Soft Plastic Lure Paint?
I'll be watching this one. I know Spike-It has soft plastic paint in 11 colors, but i don't know if it could be thinned enough to spray.

Plastics storage/organization
My16' boat is lacking in storage ability, so i don't carry a ton of baits. I use wraps:1 for senko/flukes, 1 for worms, 1 for d/s baits, 1 for tubes / craws/ creatures, and 1 for spinnerbaits. Hard baits go into an old Plano magnum double sided box: surface and cranks to 6' on one side, deeper cranks, jigs, and trailers on the other. Still carries way more than i could use in a single day, but if i had more room i would bring more.

Is anyone familiar with the "J Rig"
C'mon RW, you can make these things. A split ring, weight, and a hook? Certainly you have the skills....

Creme
Early 70's was my first use of a plastic worm. Kelley's Plow Jockeys - a thin dia. worm prerigged with 3 small hooks and about 6"line tied with a loop,no beads or props. Grape outfished their other colors they had. 6# trilene (dad had a mitchell 300, i had a true temper (can't remember the name) it was an open faced spinning reel built into the rod. Kelleys are still available (Jann's) Great lure and easy to fish for beginners. Don't forget to use a Sampo snap/swivel...

What’s your fishing style
Junk fishing for me. Most of the lakes i fish are between 200 to 700 acres, clear, and pressured. I like power fishing the most, but i finesse alot out of necessity. (maybe it's not?) I can count on one hand the number of trips in the last 10 years that i didn't fish a dropshot at some point during an outing. Same with a wacky rig. This year a bladed jig joined the group, replacing a spinnerbait. My rod box contains 5 bc, 3 spinning. I like to frog-fish and throw some pike baits on occasion but did neither this year. ☹️

12poundbass’s second annual year in review thread
I put my boat to sleep today. This year was way better for me than last year. My outboard behaved, and i got to fish with a friend that turned me on to firecraw bladed jigs that he makes . (some may know who i'm talking about) Clear water and that dang color should not work (in my mind), but it has all season long. Last sunday was my last time out, watrer temps 48*, and i caught a beautiful 18.25", 3.6# smallie in 14 fow on a blade bait. Nice way to end the season. Now the hard part...4.5 months until i can go again.

Who's going fishing this weekend?
Took the mrs. out sat., could not get the o/b trim to work. I launched anyway and with the breeze limiting where i could go (comfortably) i zeroed. Got up this morning, turned a screw on the trim/tilt and heard fluid flow. It works! And today nicer than yesterday, i went out and caught 1 smallie (18.25", 3.6#) on a bladebait in 14 fow. Saw 2 bigguns shallow and couldn't get them to bite. In fact, they swam away. I can call it quits now . 48 degree water.
