  1. But the more important question here is do you like everything she does? Give and take always. But yes, a girl who loves to golf, fish, and is proficient in both... game end.
  2. If they have a quick turnaround time then sound like I should get it next week. I sent it in last Friday. I cant wait to fish this new water!
  3. I may do that if I dont see it by tomorrow. I'm getting antsy lol.
  4. I had to send my rod off to St Croix for warranty replacement. I discovered a new fishery close by that is supposedly a great spot and I have yet to do any serious fishing since I have moved back home to Florida 5 months ago. Any idea how long it typically takes to get your rod back from them? I need my flipping and pitching rod for this place! I used they're FedEx shipping per stated on the website.
  5. Florida and Texas. Done.

  7. Epic screen name. I'm gonna use it next time it is appropriate lol.
  8. Holy caps lock! Welcome to BassResource.com
  9. The fishing in Gainesville is garbage so I took a trip to hang out with a buddy in Tampa and took my inflatable Bass Get'r out on a small private pond. Missed a bass right before sunset that had to be over 10 lbs. I was throwing a big buzz bait and it boiled on it HUGE, took it under, then it popped out. Saw it waking a lot of water coming for it again, hit it with the biggest splash I have ever seen a bass make in my life and missed it again. She was gone forever after that. It's a finicky little pond but on the same note, holds some HUGE bass. Nothing too big but decent. 3.8 lbs This thread is over with but I can still brag a bit. I lived out west and up in the north east for a short time and realized how much I really missed home. Nothing compares to Bass'n in Florida.
  10. I used to carry a Sig P232 any time I was around large crowds and or alcohol. What a sweet gun. I sold it years back and now I'm gunless. I need to pick up another one.
  11. I was always an outdoorsy kid since I was born. I loved water critters. I naturally started fishing around 7 and naturally became a surfer as well. I just love anything water.
  12. Depends on the water. But if it's a tough bite and I dont know the waters, usually a weightless plastic. Trick worms, brush hogs, speed worms, ect.
  13. A bunch of saltwater crap for fishing for Reds, Trout, and Flounder. The Bass bite in Gainesville is garbage so I'm getting my fill in by heading out to the ouster beds and the flats with my new neighbor and his flats boat.
  14. Yeah I have tried out some little retention ponds here and there. Nothing holding anything. Most action I have seen was what appeared to be a bass smash something on top in a retention pond but when fishing it, it was dead. I need to find some worth while fishing within a 45 min drive. I'm so disappointed with the area!
  15. What part of the NE? I am in Gainesville and the fishing is terrible! I miss CFL.
  16. Personally I love it. But a very light drizzle that is. Plus I live in Florida so it feels awesome. I can get enough of those slow drizzly fishing days. So calm, quiet, and cool.
  17. Im in Gainesville for the next year to finish up some school. Then I will be moving back to the Orlando area. Hello fertile waters!
  18. Slow roll brush hogs down it. I had a place like that at an apartment complex I lived in in Orlando and I caught many bass in it. Some over 5lbs.
  19. At this point, I am pretty much giving up on bass fishing while I am here for the next year. I will have to plan trips to fish elsewhere from now on. Local waters no go. Bummer. Looks like the Redfish are calling my name for awhile...
  20. Time on the water. Other than that, rule of thumb is fish abnormalities and structure. When hot, fish slow. When cold, fish slow. spring and fall fish more aggressively. Clear water, natural colors. Dark water, dark colors. Oh and one more thing, time on the water. Every fisherman finds a systems that produces. Put in time.
  21. There is more water than you can imagine. Pressured or not, if you know what you are doing, the lines will stay tight. You can catch bass in a rain puddle in the street in Florida. Just get a small boat and you are golden. Good luck with the move.
  22. Ran my boat into hundreds of massive fishing spiders in some grass. They started jumping into the boat and I proceeded to have a crisis.
  23. Thank you, Sir. Looks like finesse jigging, and weightless plastics. I'm sure I will figure out more once I get out there. Cheers.
  24. Planning on doing a fishing trip to one of these 2 lakes this Saturday. Any feedback on them? I am in Gainesville and have learned that the bass fishing in and around town is terrible. In fact, so far, it is. Ponds have nothing in them, Newnans lake was a dud. I am hearing that these two places are my best bet. Any experiences with these 2 bodies of water within the last year?
