What to Do With Gently Used Soft Plastics?
I usually put them back in the same bag, if they are not too bad. I store mine in original bags or clam shells. I just put the bait in backwards in the bag, if the tails are on the right, I’ll reverse put the tail on the left. I’ll use it first next time, then they go in the coffee jar to use as trailers or Ned’s. After I’ve used them up they get melted down into some open pour molds. I don’t think I’ve ever caught anything on them, but it’s fun. I don’t separate colors or anything, got some unique colors sometimes.

Jigs in Winter - Yay or Nay?
I’ve caught smallies in the winter in Nc on jigs, but it was tough going. It was the only thing I could get them to bite on though. A green pumpkin jig with a green pumpkin netbait baby craw. Had to work the deep holes in the river real slow.

Welded Aluminum Shallow Bottom Boat Recommendations?
Not trying to steer you away from Bass Resource……. Tinboats.net I got a lot of information from there, I’ve did a couple of tin boats. I have a welded Polar Kraft 15/48 mod.v. I’m real happy with it. There is a ton of different options. I like to keep my boat simple, not a lot of accessories, less to go wrong and maintain .

Wind and weather - does it affect your decisions?
I’m about the same way, except for lightning . It does change where I fish, Lake George can get nasty quick, I’ll go more north and fish the St Johns.

Cast iron pans.
I’ve got skillets, deep skillets with basting lids, cast iron griddle, Dutch ovens plus a waffle maker. I like cast iron cookware. My nieces and nephews call them my cowboy pots. I can hang them over the fire pit, cook bake beans, chili and they love beanie weenies.

Your favorite fishing sounds
I love the sounds of nature, the birds, gators and the turtles splashing going in the water. I love for them to be interrupted by the sound my reel makes when the drag is getting peeled out. I’m like “oh yeah…. Game on”

Baitcaster drag
