Things Were Poppin' Today
Only managed 2 and had a few blowups but this was my first fish of the day. Didn't have my scales since the boat is all loaded up for a tournament in the am. She was very fat though. I'll say 4lbs to be safe. 3700 box for reference since I feel the pics don't it it any real justice.

Yo-Zuri Hybrid
Yeah $10 for a spool isn't bad at all. I run the #12 on a handful of my setups. It does the trick.

Yo-Zuri Hybrid
It's a very popular line on this board. #6 spinning and #12 casting. That's about all you need. It's a great all purpose line.

Pick 2 And Leave The Rest At Home
For me this year it would be a rage craw and a 7" rage anaconda worm. Candy craw and double header colors for both.

Whiffle Spool?
It's been talked about before. You can do it and you'll be just fine. I run backing on my reels so I don't use as much line but I do have one that's straight #65 braid tied to the spool and it's been that way for a few years. At the end of the season I walk out all the line and re spool from the opposite end so it's new braid for the next season.

Maryland's Who's who!
I took my course online. It took about 5hrs start to finish. That being said I just got the card a few months ago and I've had a boat for about 3yrs now. I've also never been checked. Even when stopped all they ask for is my fishing license. It's basically common sense stuff on the test. Take a day and get it done.

Is 2-3 Hours Without A Bite Common In Summer?
I went Sunday with 3 friends in kayaks. We fished the same water and in relative close proximity to each other. With in casting distance anyhow. They were throwing the same stuff I was using. I ended the day with triple the fish then the next closest buddy who had 7. That day was just all about technique. I slowed way down and they all fished pretty fast. Sometimes you just have to work an area really slow to get bit.

Pescador Sport 10.0
I had read a few times it was a tarpon clone also. Thanks for the help fellas. Might be asking for more help once I get it. Mainly mounting a depth finder. As for seats,I think I'll just deal with the stock one for awhile. I really don't feel like adding a $100+ seat to the cost.

Finally Got My Nrx!!! Wohoooo!!!! (Pics)
Sorry to hear this. I know your pain though. Made a trade on here for a rod I really wanted and when it showed up at usps it was broke. Luckily that's the only time it's happened. Anything ups or fedex I've been lucky with so far.

Anyone Have The Navionics For Iphone
Would someone with this app be willing to help me out on a new lake? I've fished the lake a few times but that was before I had this app. I've never really studied a topo map before so I don't exactly know what I'm looking at. I'm trying to locate some potential good looking fishing spots. I've found submergent vegetation but it's all at the opposite end from where I'm familiar with. If anyone would like to help me out that would be greatly appreciated. It's deep creek lake in Md if you want to look at it. Thanks again BR.

Best Spinning Reel Under $100 For Drop Shotting
I don't see a reason to upgrade reels since the president is such a nice reel for the money. You can check out the okuma rtx 25 or 30 though. It's very light and smooth. The only difference is line capacity and drag power. I have the 25 and it holds more than enough line for me and the drag hasn't failed me yet. It's an impressive little reel for $75.

Maybe Small But Big Payoffs?
Bass are predators and will eat anything. Big to small,it doesn't matter. Often what anglers might consider big really isn't all that 'big' to a fish. That being said my two biggest fish were on 'small' baits. 5" senko and a 4" dream shot.

Pescador Sport 10.0
Okay so I've narrowed it down to a couple kayaks but since I can get this one locally it's my first choice. I've done a lot of reading up on it and it seems to get great reviews from what I've found. The only thing I can't seem to find out is if you can upgrade the seat. It doesn't seem to have any padding to it and me being 215lbs I think it might get a bit uncomfortable. So does any know of any seats that will fit and offer better support/padding.

Daiwa Reel Upgrades
I can't wait for this to happen. Though I do like the shimano power grip II knobs on my ht handle.

New Powelll
How can you not like the endurance over the max? It's built on a better blank and has a better guide train. I have a max 703 and it doesn't come close to the endurance 723's I have. It quickly became a moving bait rod.

Wormshaft Guide/guard Material
Every reel I own uses plastic for that piece. From low-high end reels. I've never experienced and problems that you mention. Is it multiple reels that do this or just one?

How Much Line Do You Really Need For Swimbait Fishing.
There are people using 200 sized shimano round reels for swimbaits. Some are fine with them and others mentioned wishing it was bigger. I guess one of the major factors is how heavy the swimbaits will be that you are throwing. Something small like the Mattlures U2 gill would be fine on a 200 sized reel because it's only 1oz. The larger 4/5/6oz swimbaits I'd think you'd want a 300 sized reel for the extra line.
