  1. Right on. When I was 12 (1990), the Plano over-and-under was the box to have.
  2. Sweet. Ichiban and kiwi are the only 2 I haven't ordered from.
  3. I've been looking for a 1/2oz+ reel for a heavy/moderate rod, and I'm eyeing the '19 Scorpion mgl 150. Stats on JLS say it holds 100yds of 16lb line. The paint looks nice as well. Larger framed reels seem to scare me off, even though I won't be palming the reel for this setup.
  4. '23 Tatula 2500's $134 from ali x. https://www.aliexpress.us/item/3256805878211141.html?spm=a2g0o.cart.0.0.c54638daJAzHOK&mp=1&gatewayAdapt=glo2usa
  5. I'm a fan. I have 2 black widows in the 5 power. I use silicone tape for added grip.
  6. Killer code? If so, I'd like your impressions.
  7. That's a great deal 👍
  8. I had 2 of the OG Scorpions I purchased new from Brooklyn Bill's tackle shop back in 2002. Maybe the best caster of any reel I've owned. I'd buy more in a second if they re-released them.
  9. Forgot about the pointer 65...
  10. Magnum Baits 'reg stick' worms come in 25pks. Magnum baits are poured baits, not injection molded. I'll be trying a couple of their baits come spring. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Magnum_Baits_RegSticks_Soft_Stick_Worms/descpage-MBRSS.html
  11. X-rap. Deadly in large and small sizes 👍

Those hooks would make a squarebill a lot more weedless. I guess I could snip off a barb and make my own 2-prong hooks.
  13. I will be adding a couple of Evokes to my next order. I read several reviews saying the bill is fragile, but it was the 1.2 model.

I discovered this years ago when I ran out of shaving cream.

I'm a mach 3 and braun series 7 user. The braun electric will indeed shave as close as a blade. The mach 3 turbo is my fav if I can get them for a good price.
  16. Efreet? I'd go up a power if this is the series you are looking at. The 7'4" XH is used for jigs by a couple of TT peeps.
  17. Good picks. If you haven't already, give some OSP hardbaits a whirl.
  18. I think you need a big pair of hairy dice yourself to throw such a thing 🤡
  19. Like you, I was impressed with my 6-11 and am considering the z-crank. I don't need it, but that hasn't stopped me before. They have a few niche models I'm interested in actually. You never know when this cheap JDM ride is going to end.
  20. I wish this were true, because JLS has several p5's starting at $252 with cheap shipping. P5's are sensitive, but not on the NRX level. Tackle Tour's latest p5 review... Sensitivity: I feel as though everyone today is looking for electric sensitivity in their fishing rod. Especially if the rod in question is at or above a certain price threshold. At just under $500, the BMG likely meets that threshold for many and if that's your expectation, I can tell you right now those expectations will not be met with the BMG. At the same time, I can also tell you that you will not have any issue sensing the bite with this stick.
  21. The Imx-Pro crankbait rods have the softness you describe with your old croix premiers. Best cbr's ever made IMO.
  22. Luzianne + sucralose is how I roll. I have been drinking a lot of the great value sugar free drink mix lately (generic crystal light). Its pretty dam good...
