I have a couple of Tat 80's with lime green drag stars. I actually just put those on...bought them like 6 years ago and wasn't a fan of the color at all.

The powerbait smell takes me back to 1988 when Id rig a power worm on my 6'M Lightning Rod with a Tru-Turn hook. Its a good smell 🤠

Got another SLP Zillion 7.1. Didn't have any reels with orange accents, so that is what I went with. 85mm Handle. Rod is a 13 Fishing Envy 3 7'4" MH/Mod fast. Backlash Tackle sent the reel in a little SLP cardboard box and they included an SLP shopping bag like I would get if I walked into the shop and bought it. Pretty cool.

Hit the TW $5 bin for the Bill Lowen finesse football jigheads- 3/0 light gammy hook + wire keeper is ideal. Better than keitech imo. Snagged a couple Angler Asset 3/8oz spinners and 3 Catch Co Tight Rope 1/4oz 'bite getter' spinners. D&M buzzbait for good measure.

Yeah...my new sansung takes amazing pics, but its $1500. I'd like another Canon compact I think...something I wouldn't cry over if I drop it in the lake. Gonna bargain hunt.

Do you use a camera that isn't your phone? I want to get a point and shoot camera just for fishing. Had a canon s500 (5 megapixel) back in the early 2000's that took excellent pics. Any recommendations?

My hack- use a football jig around wood because it's easier to make solid contact with the cover and get a deflection. I save flipping jigs for the thick stuff.

Reminds me of 2005 when kvd won the Elite event on lake Lewisville in Texas, with a lake record 11lb13oz bass. This was when the shakeyhead was gaining popularity, and during the tourney, he shared that he was using a finesse worm, but kept how he rigged it a secret until after the dust settled. He was doing the t-rigged jighead just as you are 👍🥷

I've been eyeing a ct limited for months. I feel like the next ct might lose the spool tension, so I'm inclined to pick one up...just dont know what I'll do with it. Never stopped me before 🤷‍♂️😁
