Muddy will be there, even if I have to drive to Yankeeland and drag him down by the heels.

4th Annual BassResource.com Roadtrip!!!
Mods/Ronnie, unless you throw the prospective attendees a bone by early next week, I'm going to tell everything I know ... and I know a lot more than you think I do. I figure it would be a nice Christmas present to all who are chomping at the bit. 8-)

Living in Oklahoma
Tinker AFB is just southeast of Oklahoma city. It's not the prettiest country in Oklahoma but it's not too bad. Since the Air Force seems to go out of its way to build bases in inhospitable places, it seems they really screwed up with this location. Lots of things to do. Lots of places to fish.

Four Year Low For Oil
Two days ago our gasoline price jumped $0.12 overnight for no apparent reason. It's now $1.499. I'm not complaining, though.

Santa Claus came early...(aka Xmas exchange results thread)
I received my gift from Chris at Tech a couple of days ago. In my opinion Chris put a lot of thought into his lure selections and they were VERY nice. The best thing about the Christmas exchange is that it allows one to see bass fishing through another man's eyes. I fish primarily with t-rigged plastics and jigs. Apparently, Chris fishes with cranks and swim baits. He sent me one awesome swim bait. Can't wait til spring.

Lake Fork
I'll narrow it right down for you. It's Lake Fork. This time of year, be prepared for everything.

Asking About Specific Subject Matter
Wouldn't it be great if only 10% of the new members bothered to use that tab? The number of repetitive questions would drop exponentially. It would also be great if every question that started with some nitwit asking "What is the best" could be sent to a look-up table where the inquirer could answer the question himself and narrow his/her choices down to only one choice. It wouldn't make any difference if the choice was the correct one. It would just have to fit in with his/her budget.

Apartment Pet
I had a pet snake once, but I couldn't house-break it, and couldn't figure out how to put a diaper on it.

Amazing discoveries in Greater Mekong
Ya know? I have a shag carpet in my den that looks almost exactly like the first picture. I've been wondering why it keeps moving around. :-/

Extreme Weather
Sorry, Glenn, that one went right over my head. What do you mean by the Classic NOW? :-?
-
Your favorite "oldies" actor?
Glenn, you are much too young to remember Red Skelton. What did you do, what his shows while in the womb? You are right, though. He was a great one. I also agree with you about the Carroll Burnett crew, especially Tim Conway.

'09 catalogs ????
- Christmas exchange.
On behalf of all the Christmas Exchange participants, I would like to thank Dominion Dan for his hard work in organizing everything.- '09 catalogs ????
I can't remember. If I'm not mistaken, I receive only three or four new BPS catalogs a week. One of them may have been an 09, but they all go into the trash. It's almost criminal how much money BPS wastes on their catalogs.- Christmas party..
I make my living working in the homes of wealthy people. For the most part, they are genuinely nice people who do not put on airs and actually try to make you feel comfortable while working in their home. They are men and women who grew up in Anywhere, USA and, through hard work and more than a little luck, became wealthy. Most of them do not forget where their roots are. Most of them would never double-dip, because of they were taught how to conduct themselves in public; usually by their parents. Do not pre-judge an individual because of the parties he or she hosts. After all, many of the attendees may not have had the benefits of an education in proper conduct.- Egg Nog
I'm with you Kent. Before my liver turned to stone, my egg nog had always had a generous lacing of Black Jack. Alas, I must now limit myself to regular egg nog or wine only. (Loud Sigh)- Hit the dog...
I guess that means that she hit his boat wrong. Or maybe she hit his boat left. :-/- The Day the Earth Stood Still. More hollywood trash.
The most asinine sci-fi movie I have ever seen was Kronos. The villan was a huge metalic box with a dome on top. It had five or six "legs" that looked like giant cylinders. These "legs" could only go straight up or straight down, yet that machine traveled all over the place. The Godzilla movies also ranked right up there. B movies were always pretty much a load of crap, but, as a kid, I thoroughly enjoyed them.- The Day the Earth Stood Still. More hollywood trash.
I just had a flashback. Wasn't the dude talking to his robot? - Christmas exchange.
