  1. Tournament bass fishing my narrative is night crawlers and shad 😂
  2. I kind of want to link all the hilarious short videos and memes online about Sitka but there are just too many that pop up and they are all hilarious haha. The tiger woods/jon Daly ones are great cotton is a wonderful clothing fabric, I’m like you and don’t drink the kool aid. Supposedly it kills you, yet here we are
  3. Or taken by the dump truck on the highway I used to pester the professors in college that always ended their deer years in .5, they can’t all be right at .5 all year long……….. I know, I know, it’s because they are always referring to hunting season but we had to go to class all throughout the year and no matter what the calendar said, every deer was 0.5,1.5, 2.5, 3.5 etc, regardless off class being in August, December, or April 😂
  4. Oh heck that’s a spinning rod and I think wacky worm. Was that the one that rolled on a frog and he followed up? I remember listening to the live while fishing so I wasn’t looking Crazy shallow, that ls where we catch them downriver on my Alabama vacation every year too, water temp in the low 90s and they stay about shin deep haha
  5. Ah yes you are correct, I was a year off. He got two large cardboard checks for that frog eater. And Alex was at the tourney I believe !
  6. Biggest fish on BASS tour last year was caught ultra shallow with a frog in summer heat of Alabama
  7. Papaw always said hold the very back of the hook when using that one 😂
  8. Won’t make any headlines, but there’s a lot of folks like that out there. Thanks for kindness and thanks for recognizing it as well
  9. Fair warning: that thing isn’t waterproof in the rain. Mine is in a landfill somewhere, poured water out of it many times. Granted we get 13 more inches of rain per year than Seattle

  14. Who are those 3 you mentioned ?
  15. I’ve tried the new ones , so far no catches but I caught nothing at all those days with a variety of baits Got this joker with the old one last year, and lots of nice SMB thru the years
  16. I do watch MDJ and DC on YouTube, that’s the extent of my BPT consumption . They are hilarious
  17. “If you build it, they will come” -otter field of dreams
  18. Oh yeah I also forgot, it’s terrifying to ride in a boat at 70 mph, especially when you’re not the one driving. And freezing
  19. Buying golden shiners in Florida is a combat sport
  20. we’ve had a couple 50+ and one 60+ degree day here lately, quite nice We need less of any moisture all the time. We are in a “drought” while some areas are still rebuilding from devastating floods. We all hope that never happens again but unfortunately it will, I wish we could take our constant floods and pipe it to somewhere out west
  21. While having 13 licenses from other states haha. What a rebel…..
  22. 330 conibear is the ticket, I’m guessing I posted that already somewhere on here. There is a season for fur trapping but if you tell the game warden they are killing your fish, he will probably green light year round permission to trap . It’s not like a mouse or raccoon where you put food in a trap and it will just walk right in. You’ve got to get the trap set underwater and somehow funnel the otter into it , placement is key. I would try that wet conveyance if possible, if not some sort of culvert/inflow/outflow would be best. They make stands for conibears that you can set in the water and slide the trap onto trapping otters is hard work with lots of coming up empty handed but not impossible, it not something I tried often in my former career but I’ve went with the real veterans many times, guys that wear overalls everyday and chew twist
  23. I thought the same thing!!! Haha
