Fishing Jerseys
Thats what I was thinking, one kid on youtube was like I get 30% off the rods... well I'm pretty sure they mark up the rods more than 30% so your still the costumer. It's one thing if it St. Croix or G. Loomis or something but I wouldn't pay half price for some of those brands I've never heard of in my life, much less 70%. Just my opinion.

Fishing Jerseys
Exactly^^^ They don't care if you catch fish, they don't care if you even know how to fish, as long as you can promote their products and sell them. A lot of people get sponsors through social media and that is why you see pictures of just a rod sitting on someones casting deck or something like that. Why do you say that? Is there something wrong with them? I don't now much about them I have just heard about them before.

Fishing Jerseys
Have you heard of national pro staff? You can go on there and get sponsors pretty easily apparently. I have not done it because I have not yet started fishing tourneys (next year hopefully) but it is generally smaller brands. I wouldn't think they would do it with hopes of getting a sponsorship because that kind of repels other brands, for example if I wore lews hoping to get a sponsorship Shimano might not be willing to sponsor me even though I would still rather have Shimano than no one. But I don't completely know, like I said I don't have any yet but I hope to next year.

The Tackle Debate
Nothing wrong with the black max. I have a friend who fished a black max for a long time and probably still would be if he hadn't tried my lews tournament pro one day. As long as you don't know how good things can get you will be 100% satisfied. I'm sure if I were to fish with a Antares I would not be satisfied with what I've got... but I haven't yet.

Ice Fishing Lures
I think it really depends on where you plan to fish. I ice fish mainly ponds and I do not have one. I have used them before but if you have fished the area before (without ice) you can kind of know what the bottom is like and choose where to try based off what you already know. I have had much success without a flasher. But to answer your question, no it is not completely necessary but a big help.

BPS
I know Scheels here gives their employees a discount of cost +7% to cover shipping and handling... At that point they really aren't making money off of them.

My St. Croix Story
Ooooh, I was about to go out and buy a mojo so I could break it? JK

Which do you prefer for fall fishing, spinnerbaits or chatterbaits?
If I'm going to fish either it is usually going to be a chatter bait. I feel like it goes through grass better along the bottom and you can vary the retrieve more than a spinnerbait. Don't get me wrong though, I know a spinnerbait works and I've caught many fish on them.

Fishing Dream
The best is when I am in Florida saltwater fishing and I've been out on the boat all day so I have that rocking feeling already and then I have dreams of some weird fish. After seeing different kinds of toothed saltwater fish all day your dreams can really get interesting. Or how about during hunting season when you dream of catching deer while fishing... Or is that only me??

Possible New World Record Crappie
For a split second there I thought that was a bass! In my defense the glare from the sun is on my screen...? If I caught that I don't think I would realize it was a crappie and would have thought I had found a new species.

I have so much tackle I can't find anything?
For someone with such little tackle compared to most of you guys and considering that I am still building up, I can't understand the complaining. If I had enough tackle to take me 20 min to find a jig I'd be more than happy. ?

Baitcasters; Right vs Left handed retrieve...
I'm the exact same way as you. I always assumed my friends were doing something wrong but when I realized everybody but me was switching hands I started to wonder if I was doing it wrong. Luckily there was a thread at the time talking about it and I learned that it really doesn't matter.

Can yall Id this lot?
Like others have said you can buy the majority of these things at Walmart. The only things I am unsure about are the top two reels and the rods but something tells me I’ve seen at least a couple of those rods at Walmart too...

Benefits of micro guides?
I don’t know what it isn’t about micro guides I just feel like there’s more of a “finesse” and “perfection” about it. That’s why I enjoy using them... just my opinion.
