That clip is what I started using, The cheap ones the metal has a larger dia and can be hard to attach.

I use Tripolymer, FC, and Braid/FC depends on my setups.

I try to keep my lure purchases within the $10 range. But on occasion I may go above. The diference between the cheap lures and the more expensive lures in my opinion is the quality. But, the fish don't know if it is $10 or $20 lure. Bottom line it is whatever fits into your budget,

I just have to be selective the days I fish. Very hot or very cold weather is not for me. I am dealing with skin cancer and the old bones just don't like the cold.

Keep us posted on how they work. Ideal BFS weight is 1g(1/32oz) to 7g(1/4oz).
