  7. My drop shop rod is 6'6" Progressive Glass spinning rod, MF/M with12# Tripolymer line. This works for me.
  8. I use Hi-Viz braid with a FC leader. If fishing straight braid I usually go with the dark colors. I also have heard that some will use hi-viz braid and use a marker to color the first few feet. I haven't tried that.
  9. All I have used is Cals. Here is another one that is supposed to be good https://deuthlon.com/products/deuthlon-power-drag-grease
  10. I use Penn Rod and Reel Cleaner
  11. I have an assortment of screwdivers, small pliers, tools to remove spool bearings, pipe cleaners, qtips, solvents, greases etc. This kit is very pricey, just using as a reference to see some of the tools you may need https://a.co/d/3EXkwxr Bottom line just make sure you use the right tool to take apart the reels. You can ruin a reel by not doing so.
  12. So with the price of everything and game warden shortages. People will just fish without a license and take the chance. Is it right heck no.

  16. Better check the weather reports may be pretty windy out there.
  17. I have the Kastking Zephyr BFS rod and the Kestrel BFS in 2piece. The Zephyr is cheaper then the Kestrel. Also the Kestrel comes in one piece. Both are budget friendly. https://kastking.com/products/kastking-kestrel-fishing-rods https://kastking.com/products/kastking-zephyr-finesse-casting-rod
