Several years ago I built the wife a garden pond and put in some goldfish. Frogs instantly found it and provided great entertainment. For the last month I noticed the goldfish were acting very skittish and not eating and the frogs went to hiding. Then there it was with a goldfish in it's mouth, the common water snake. The wife wants the snake removed but my attempts to catch it failed. Well today I saw it again for the last time. .22 pellet gun hanging out of dining room window at 5 yards.

Some really good posts here. I have friends who have a hair pin trigger when it comes to demeanor, quick to anger. Those types of people make me nervous with a firearm hanging off their belt. We should avoid any and all altercations. Imo I've carried for many years and never once thought I was Clint Eastwood 😁

I also had a Promariner fail after 2 years. Went with a Noco which will charge lead acid or lithium.

Fished with my cousin on his boat last week and both of his vests were blown up when we opened the deck storage. His boat is covered outside and we've been extremely hot and humid here. That may well be the culprit......heat and humidity. My boat is stored in the garage and never experienced this with Onyx.

I Always think of burning a buzz bait across the surface and the aggressive strike....... did they really see what color it was ❓ or was it the disruptive nature of the bait ❓ idk

I have 16 rods on the boat and nothing over 6'10. Personal preference and sometimes I'm stepping over a half dozen rods 😔

Got on the water at daylight and nothing on top water then nothing on a spinnerbait. Went to Ned and caught several fish before the heat ran me off.

I believe we've had the hottest stretch that I can remember, ever. Did manage to fish a few mornings on 2 separate bodies of water. Surface water temps were 86 and 90.

Rv's, bass boats, 4 wheelers....... never once have I pulled a battery for winter storage. Just keep them charged. Of course I know many who do store their batteries inside for the winter and nothing wrong with it.

Have you adjusted the spool tensioner knob ❓ That's what takes out the play your describing.

My fishing partner does well on the 75 with a jerk jerk jerk all the way to the boat. He never stops it nor does he use a steady retrieve. I prefer a buzz bait. Oh, did catch a blue cat on a 120 in bone.

To many rods on deck is a sign that the fish aren't cooperating, I know.

Don't do well with green pumpkin jigs, strange. Brown/ 0range and black/ blue..... yes.
