They're a little hard to find right now, because a lot of tackle shops don't carry them yet.  Ask your local dealer...um...tackle store if they will start carrying them. 

 

The monkey is hiding around every corner.  Behind every door.  I'm in quarantine and my only time out of the house was to get tested.  Lots of time to browse and I have my first adventure on Okeechobee coming in March.  I'm already stocked up on everything I need but my wish list continues to grow by the day.  

 

Help me quiet the monkey (without buying anything).  He is relentless.

I understand, I have been in quarantine since last Friday.  If I am not on here or the couple other forums I am part of, also watching fishing videos, I am looking at more tackle to buy that I know I don't need but just can't help myself!  Haha

I just ordered 6 colors of Ott's Garage 06 cranks to try out. The monkey was still asleep, so I got off easy.

It was 20 this morning shortly after the sun came up, but I want to be prepared.

A few months ago, Pro Brent Chapman had an estate sale.  He was moving his Bass Cave, and was selling a ton of baits and stuff that he didn't want to move to the next location.  So, I went, and got a bunch of stuff.  Everything was super cheap, and there was some cool stuff.  I must not have gotten bit by the Bait Monkey, cause I didn't spend enough. 

He also donated boxes of soft plastics and jigs, and some crankbaits, to the Kansas Youth Bass Nation, for some extra prizes for winners of our tournaments. 

It is kinda hard to see, but I got:

5 Different jigs, casting, swim, etc

1 Wobble head

1 Chatterbait

1 Deep diving jerkbait

2 (custom color?) Top Shelf Original Swimbaits

1 Small Freddy the Frog

11 Tungsten weights and a 3 lead

1 Buzzbait

Total= $21

I also bought 15 jigs from Siebert a few weeks ago.  

I was FINALLY able to score some OG Slim 06's at Bass Pro today. Picked up 3 to try out for now. Doubt if any will be left when the yearly sale hits later in February.

 

Also snagged a few Rapala Shad Rap 07's and a few of the newest  colors of DT-6's. 

 

I wanted to purchase so much more, however the Bait Monkeys ultimate arch nemesis, aka my wife....well, you all know how that goes....?

First ever mega bass jerk bait.  Bought specifically for ultra clear northern Michigan lakes with extensive populations of perch IE crystal, big platte, and where ever else I venture too

Picked up a Plano guide series 3600 tackle bag. $59 on clearance at Sportsman's.
