I’m starting to think I’m a hoarder 

Ordered some shoes and these Yozuri 2.5's from Sierra.  They have a mesmerizing translucent finish.  

Just got the rod in that I preordered a while ago for my new tube and shakey head setup that I am going to use this season. Megabass Levante Enforcer paired with a Tatula LT 3000.

I haven’t looked at Sierra Trading Post in awhile ,assuming that’s who you are referring to. Bought a couple fishing items from there including a rod a few years ago,well packaged and shipped  on their end. Was looking at some live target goby soft baits but got them from Dicks toward the end of last season. Almost pulled the trigger on a St.Croix legend glass rod last year only had a one year warranty as I recall but kicking myself in the rear end for not pulling  the trigger on that one.

Lucky craft BDS 1's and 2's are gold.  I got lucky a couple years ago, and found an ebay seller that had several colors in stock for the $16.99 retail price.  It's crazy to see these going for WEC money on ebay.

Have you seen Damiki's 'Bryan Thrift' squarebill?  I picked up a few from TW during the Christmas sale, and they ate remarkably close to the BDS 2.  Here are 2 of the Damiki's and 2 BDS 2's for comparison...

Latest eBay finds.  Top one is a lucky craft ushad 65 in aurora pro blue.  Bottom 2 are 6th sense could 9’s.  The yellow perch is a c6 ad the ozark ark craw is c10.  Kinda wish I had gotten the perch in c10 too. Should be getting a 6th sense monthly bag.  So I’ll have new stuff soon for show and tell. I really need to start selling baits  haha to make room for new baits 

 

I figure I’m roughly a month to a month and half away from possibly putting the boat in the water.  Last year first trip was March 26th.  I’m starting to get geeked up.  Hopefully the ice is gone soon 

Stopped in the tackle shop to get a new spinning reel, and couldn't find anyone to help me so walked around and looked for a few.  Ended up leaving with a DT 10, a DT 16, and a Red Eyed Shad to go with the reel purchase.  Got home and the wife says thought you were just going for the reel, I said everyone was in the stock room working on their stock and didn't want to just stand at the reel counter.  She just rolled her eyes and laughed, must have been the grin on my face!!  haha

Been away from the game for a while due to some career obligations that took up literally all my time and then some, but I'm currently pretty deep in the throws of a preseason quiver shakeup and it's been fun to get back into the literal and figurative swing of things- my basement is in complete reorganizational disarray.  It's awesome.    

 

Determined to get back out on the water with some sexy new gear this summer and reconnect with my love for the obsession.  Currently liquidating one hobby's extras to grab a few new Megabass sticks and some heavy plastic to chuck, and I'm already stoked to gush over the unsheathing of a new rod.  It's good to be back!  

No pics...yet.  Stopped in and played with blanks at Thorne Bros.  New finesse spinning rod and crank bait rod are being built for me.  Should have them in a few weeks.

 

I like reading through this thread and seeing how happy guys are when they receive stuff the really wanted. 
 

I have/had a short list of baits I wanted for this season. Going to try some new to me X Zone stuff this season for the first time. Feel real good about it. Got all that in at Christmas. Very quick delivery from those guys. Went factory direct for my order. 
 

But I’m starting to get ants in my pants on some hardbaits that have been on backorder. Want spares of a few good producers. One is a new bait but I don’t want to take just any color patterns to get some. Sort of want what I want type of thing. They will arrive, can’t fish them today or anytime soon just got 7” more snow yesterday. The Ants are starting to bite me.

I would take more trips to the store (B&M or online), but my wallet has nothing but cobwebs and moths in it now.

I just bought TW out of some 6th Sense jigs in certain colors and weights. Those specific ones are backordered until June and July now. Good Lord, please don't let 2021 shape up to be anything remotely similar to 2020 with things backordered to hell and nothing in stock. I fear what the shelves are going to look like when things heat up in the spring. That's why I've gone bonkers this winter more than anything. I was pretty screwed last year on many baits and terminal tackle and even some line.

I thought the same thing the last couple times I was in a retail outdoors store the past month. Both places I frequent were loaded with just about everything so I’ve been stocking up on items that I couldn’t find last season. Plastics, weights, hooks, etc. It may be a bit of “panic buying” but I refuse to risk what happened last season.

I did the same thing last year with all my plastic and hard baits. . Was sitting pretty come spring, walking through the store chuckling past the empty shelves thinking I’m all set. Day one to go fishing came and I went to get a few things together. I had two hooks and one weight. OH NO. 

Will not make that mistake again. 

Scored a couple Daiwa Fuegos on eBay for a really good deal. 

Got high hopes for these things. Not pictured is a Northern Secret 110+1 JR also, didn't figure that was worth showing ?
