Thanks! Aside from a wacky/neko offering, I was unsure what else. And as silly as this sounds, trim from the “front end” correct? Not the tail (smaller) end…

 

Also, I don’t know if anyone has ever seen the 6th sense bodega, but if not, the internet is deceiving. It’s bigger than a 6” magdraft. That thing is a beast!

Correct. Trim from the head. The correct length really gets it hunting. 

 

They also work well as a shaky head. And when they start getting torn up, I'll cut it down and use on a ned head.

Local fleet farm had Berkley 10 inch ribbon tails for $3 a pack on clearance so I grabbed a couple.

Well, I don’t think so because she went to the needlepoint store afterwards. If nobody knows, needlepoint is just a tad bit expensive.

Picked up this bad boy for 20 bucks today at the flea market. Megabass Vatalion glide bait. I can't remember what color this was but it looks alot like a blueback herring to me so I had to have it and for 20 bucks I was giddy!

Will do. I threw off one of my original 3/8 last week. I’m hoping this 5/8 and it being a flex, gets down through the tops of the hydrilla better. The 3/8 is awesome above them, it runs through them as well. That’s why I’m hoping the 5/8 being 1/4oz heavier will help…

I have a Vatallion and I always forget I have it. Thank you for reminding me! I love that bait. I fish it more like an oversized lipless than I do a swimbait. It has produced for me.
