Well I jumped on the custom color drop from The Hook Up for the Spro Chad Shad.  Can't wait to try them out.

Just ordered 3x Karashi's in the Megabass Respect 90 color drop of GG smallmouth bass.  This could be the best lure in my arsenal.

Order the replacement treble hooks!

Tom

Well haven’t been on here in over a week as I’ve been “busy” on vacation. Lol

Anyways, been fishing a bunch and USPS just dropped this stuff off today.

I already have a bunch.  I own about 10 or 15 Karashi's at this point in different colors.

I didn’t make it until the end of the year. I bought two more egg wake/cranks at bass pro in BHam today. I bought chart/black back. Haven’t seen it yet, so I picked up 2. The egg is on the website now if anyone is interested…

Was on my way home from a conference in Orlando and stopped into Bass Pro. Theyhad a bunch of the Egg wakebaits in stock, so I picked up one in each color I saw to try out. Also two more One Knockers because I have a sickness; the Bling I grabbed because I have one that I like and I thought I had backups that I grabbed in an Academy clearance but I could only find the one, and the Tennessee Blush Shad just looked too juicy not to try. The tungsten weight in the Tenn Shad one is stuck, though, so it's a much softer sound. We'll see how that does since I do like to play with sound profiles.

Then stopped at Academy on my way back as well, and grabbed two 6th Sense Speed Wakes.

I almost bought Somme G Crazy today, but all they had was morning dawn, so I let it ride…

The right sized Spro RKcrawlers finally showed up. A day later than what I was hoping.  As im done for the year.  Guess i’ll have them for the spring.  I usually don’t buy doubles or put doubles in my crank box. Starting now though I will always carry doubles of this spro gobie.

In all seriousness though,  If you are fishing for bass on the great lakes and connecting waterway and are not throwing this color of RKCrawler.   You are seriously missing out.  Both types of bass, Walleye, Northern pike and everything else that eats gobies. Will smack this crank. Not just for numbers but, the big ones eat it too. This is my 3rd time buying this exact crank.

Ok what’s going on with that 18” worm?

I’m assuming you aren’t fishing that like a “normal” plastic worm???

Neko rig I'm told. Haven't had the opportunity to fish it yet, but that's how we're going to go with it.

Picked up a Halloween Bento Box from The Hook Up Tackle. With the exception of another OSP Blitz Magnum EX DR,  its a fantastic box. Well worth the $100. I did pick up an extra 110jr +1 (I'll do a separate post just on that bait. One of the best colors I've ever seen from them.)

Bought 7" WCZ Citizens today at the hook up.

I hope they fish as good as they cost.

I picked up some Citizen Micros. I should have gotten the 6in version as well. The 7in looks huge. I definitely want to here how these worked out.

@txchaser

I wonder how those would work in a lake where bluegills are the primary forage?

They look pretty good.

Hope they are DURABLE.

You guys will have to let us know how they work.

I have tried them.  MAJORLY overpriced for what they are.  Do they work? Yes.  Are they worth it compared to other cheaper offerings?  Absolutely not.  Durability is ok...I would say average.  6" and 7/8" Megabass and Bass Mafia swimbaits work just as well at one third the cost.  4" Mayors work just as well as the micro's, and are also cheaper.

They are cool, but definitely not worth the price.  They are not some magic swimbait that is better than others.

Thank you SIR, you just saved my wife some money.   :)

I do want to buy some 5" Magdrafts though. Some of those colors look awesome.

I bought a dumb amount of 6" and 7" Bass Mafia baits from TW when they had the unloaded version on sale for $5 a two pack.  Though I do need to pick up this 5" version.

Spro Lil guy of course came back in stock right after my last order, grabbed a pack of the 5" freestyles as well.

I fish the Citizen Micros - they are cool, very nice subtle colors, and I love the action on a weighted swimbait hook (I prefer the 2/0 size). I've fished the same one for multiple sessions and find the durability excellent; it's been weedless without having to tear up the top by skin-hooking, and it has not slid down the hook except when setting it on a fish. I'm a fan, but to each his own. Probably have spent more than that on Keitechs in the same effort.

Maybe if I caught more 5 lbers I'd tear them up more, but they've held up well on my dinks through 3s.:)

Accidentally casted into a bank shrub one day (bank fishing), and when I pulled it free into the water it made a nice bass so hangry that it bashed, butted and rolled it no less than 6 times before inhaling it. I was trying to retrieve it steady but was laughing so hard at how determined that bass was. Pure joy.
