Yes. Saw their last sale but they had no 110+1s in stock in any color I could use.

Just wanted to drop in and say hi to you all. I'm not as active 'round these parts anymore. Haven't bought anything in about 5 month. Haven't had the boat out in almost 5 months. Really sucks, but it'

Through the 13th, Omnia has 20% off site-wide with code 'MAY20' (normal exclusions apply - Megabass, Daiwa, St. Croix, etc)

Is something up with ALF? I've had an order sitting there for 10 days with no status, and nobody is answering the phone nor returning messages.

Haven't made an order with them since they updated the website and removed any way to tell what is actually in stock.

ohh snap, you're right. It had been a while for me, but had a few rods wanted and they've been good with me in the past. This could be unfortunate. I'll see what happens next few days then may have to cancel (don't see an option to do that at the moment).

I tried to order a Megabass P5 from them. It showed in stock and then when it didn't ship, I emailed them. A few days later they said it would arrive from Megabass in a few weeks. I contacted Megabass and they said that is not the case and that they were out of the rod I wanted with no restock available at this time. I was ticked and cancelled my order.

ALF also did the same with me. Their site said a rod was in stock. After weeks of endless calls and emails, I finally had to cancel my order. I haven't done any business with them since.

My experiences with ALF have been all good.  Last year alone, I purchased two of Daiwa's new BFS rods, two of the new size 70 reels and spools of Tatsu.  One of the rods they shipped was the wrong model and with one phone call they immediately sent the correct one without even waiting for me to return the other.  In the end, they even offered me an excellent price on the rod that was to be returned and I bought that one too.  I call that good service.

What the heck, thinking about purchasing a rod and they were tops on my list.

Bought a rod from them last year and had a pleasant experience.

Ive been looking at all the delta edge rods and really makes my head swim. They look like really nice rods, but I don't want broomsticks and they have so many different actions hard to really know but they look like really nice rods.

I got the 6’9” MH/F mbr rod. Haven’t tried it yet but it’s a gorgeous rod, very high quality!

I had a question for ALF and gave them a call.  They answered the phone 2nd ring and it was someone with knowledge and authority.  That's so rare these days I'll keep supporting them.

If you are looking for a high end rod, check out another site.com.  They had a huge selection of G.Loomis new and used.

SOLVED: Wrapping up the ALF sub-thread. I ended up cancelling the order. I did get a reply from sales via email. They stated inventory was about 2+ weeks out then ship. They should really revert their website to providing inventory status, or at least a feedback system that tells you upon order expected ship times based on inventory availability.

I would still go back to them as they did right by cancelling and I've had good experience with them 1+ years ago. But they don't seem to be as responsive as much as they were before (even today,  the phone rings and eventually to voicemail even after 6 attempts through the day) and their lack of inventory status is a big red flag. I'd suggest calling or emailing sales on inventory availability if you place an order.

They’ve had the legacy elite program for 3-4 years. Their website used to say very clearly when an item was in back order but may have changed since

Major difference is omnia has customer service like it's actually a local tackle shop you just walked into. And killer sales to boot. No other tackle retailer can even come close in terms of customer service.

Ah, gotcha. I didn't know. This made it sound like it was new.

ALF used to have pretty good pricing on used/trade ins but now it seems like it's just better to wait for a sale and buy new from a bunch of other retailers. Shame, used to browse their site all the time and picked up a few gems.

All this ALF talk just confirms what I was arguing a couple months ago.  Shady business practices.  I don't understand how people continue to support them.  They will never get another dime from me.

Took advantage of another MidwayUSA mystery box and grabbed the last pay $312 for a minimum $500 value bass casting rod. Order was at my door in 2 days. Got a G Loomis GLX 904c mbr, so a $550 value, making this one well worth it for me.

One thing I did notice though is this particular glx was shown as out of stock when I ordered, and had a sticker for the mystery box deal dated 04/03/25 over the regular model/price tag sticker on the attached tag, so they obviously decide what rods were going in before people order. Need to check to see if the same is on the Chronarch I received in the casting reel mystery box.

Interesting.

I've dealt with them once last year and was pleased.

I have a direct email to a guy that I messaged yesterday. We will see how things go.
