A robin has had a nest under the corner of my deck for a month now. It started as 3 eggs. Then it was 3 small chicks. Last week I looked and the 3 chicks had grown to almost full size but they were still squeezed into that nest.

I looked today, and there's only 1 left. I assume the other two bailed for their first flight recently. This guy just stared at me when I took his photo. I imagine he'll be leaving soon too. Or he might stick around a little longer and enjoy the nest by himself.

Look at the size of him. He should have moved out by now. Failure to launch.

Update as of 6/2: the last robin is gone. Musta launched in the past 48 hours.
