Went to the Mall of America yesterday with my family. Went on a rollercoaster and bumper cars at Nickelodeon Universe, had some lunch in the food court, and visited the Lego, Crayola, and M&M stores.

How old is your son now @gim ?

He’s 7

Most of the adult rides require a 48 inch minimum and he is about 47.5 inches right now. By the summer I think he’ll be there.

That happened to my son right around that age at Disney, @gim . I think I had him stand on my shoes for a couple of rides he really wanted to go on 😆

Pulled up today at 4pm to feed the cows to find my frost proof cutoff valve spray fountain. Finished the repair at 10:45pm. It was lovely weather, freezing and windy.

I’ve learned Frost proofs are not freeze proof . We had a ball valve on a back flow preventer explode at work today

Update from 21 hrs ago. Fingers crossed

I was down by the intercoastal waterway today.

Got out for a rare evening of night fishing. Our friend dale had already got a 3 pound bass, and a catfish, bream and warmouth before we got there. We didn’t catch anything , but it was a great evening in a fairly wild area of N Florida off the St Johns river…

When you live in the North, the lakes are frozen, you don’t ice fish, and you’ve got that itch….
