The view from my “office” this morning. And the second pic is two hours later. Hard to believe how quick the air changes when the sun pops up a bit.

fun ride and significant because that’s 7 month old hazel riding with her daddy in the red canoe. Her first boat ride!!! (She already has 2 life jackets to choose from)

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

Sometimes you feel the need to upgrade the tow vehicle.

A four Wheeler with a bucket? I don’t believe I’ve ever seen that before.

Belongs to a Gent up the road a bit.

Lynn had Tank on a run and they stopped for a photo Op.

I completely understand and agree @whitwolf, beautiful ride. I did the same thing not too long ago, everyone seems to stop and take notice ?

I put new brakes on my tow vehicle, does that count as an upgrade? Not that it's done much towing since all it's done most of this year is haul a kayak.

Absolutely Clayton! Must be those long lines of stop-n-go traffic getting to the ramp to launch ?

I'd count it...and I'm kinda in the same 'boat'.

New leaf-springs last fall, new brakes this spring...and I got the canoe out 3 times this season.

The windows at my office have a mirror finish on them. Birds fly into them and get stunned or worse, killed. A small bird slammed into my window yesterday and broke its wing. While I was looking at it on the ground a huge red-tailed hawk swooped down and made the bird his breakfast. Two minutes and all that was left was feathers.

I can’t believe the number of praying mantises there are around our new place. Every time you walk in the field you see one. They’re all different colours too, depending on what kind of plants they are hanging around on. This guy was hanging onto the barn door today, waiting for a nice juicy wasp or some stable flys I guess.
