I'm thinking about slow cooking a brisket with asparagus and a salad avoiding potatoes and not able to eat bread any more.

Buffalo wings

Nachos and chili cheese dip

Beer

 

That's all I need for a great Superbowl menu.

 

Oh and some Rolaids for later.

 

I am planning grilled venison backstrap with roasted rosemary garlic potatoes.

@roadwarrior thanks. Now I am craving baked beans.?

Guess I will add that to the menu also.

NO...Gotta stay sober while you grill...Beer, Scotch, food. (Beer and wine don't count).

Add stogies and a firepit for halftime.

 

But yeah I'm having 15-20 friends and family, so far on the menu:

6 racks of hickory smoked St. Louis spare ribs

4 dozen applewood smoked wings/drumlets

Crock of beer braised chili

Crock of sweet and sour meatballs

6 layer dip and machos

Some vegetable platter my wife will get that no one ever eats

 

Then for beverages:

Old fashions with Basil Hayden rye whiskey

Compass Box No Name scotch

Stelzer german bier (export, pilsner, and dunkel styles) - my buddy imports these, and they are amazing

for me it will be whatever i pick up on my way home from fishing as i hope to catch the kick off, or not lol 

slow cooked homemade beef (hamburger meat) chili with red kidney beans and other ingredients .... ice cold miller light.... 

Having quite a few people over so it's going to be more than the usual SB spread. 

 

-Smoked bacon wrapped jalapeno poppers filled with cream cheese and ground sausage

-Smoked mac & cheese

-Twice smoked baked potatoes

-BBQ'd buffalo wings

-Pepper jelly with cream cheese

-French onion dip with a pound of bacon crumbles mixed in

-Nacho bar

-Chili boat bar

 

My belly is already getting nervous about what's headed its way.

Well it's a Super Bowl party but it's after church & no ya don't need a pirogue I'll send an airboat to pick you up!

I agree. My #1 too.

BBQ smokies, chili cheese dip, and of course, lots of beer

I’m just going with some wings, homemade guacamole and thick chips to hold it, and something cold to drink....

Whiskey with a side of beer. 

Menu has changed. Instead of buffalo wings we are having meatball parm subs made on garlic bread.

 

Still need the Rolaids.
