When it comes to catching, no two days are exactly the same.  Figure out what they want, and how they want it, that day, that hour!  Separates the good from the rest!

Or it will teach you to drink in moderation!!  ?

(it's a win either way!)

Moderation during Covid.....too much to ask!

As soon as I bought a kayak to access more waters to fish, I started doing much better from the bank.

If you worry about what might be, and wonder what might have been, you will ignore what is.

If you wait until the last minute, it only takes a minute.

My grandpa told me a long time ago: Bass are not smart fish. They'll hit an expensive lure fished on the best rod money can buy, but, they'll also hit a nightcrawler, dangled from a cane pole just the same...

No matter what I do, can’t catch a bass on a frog. I know the big ones are often times where that’s the only thing you can throw, but have yet to ever catch one on a frog. If it wasn’t for the testimony of all of you, and videos on YouTube, I’d be convinced that it doesn’t even work. Think I’m meant to be a senko guy.

The best place to start is at the beginning.

At work we all talk about how the only way to get good at something is to deal with problems...when things go wrong instead of running and making it someone else's problem just jump right in the fire. Then a while back I saw a team member profile of our commodities manager and his favorite quote is..."a smooth sea never made a skilled sailor". So fitting..so true.

When they announced the woman referee to be in this last Super Bowl I said that, great, she'll be throwing flags for things they did in September.
