Had a request for a Blueback Herring bladed jig. Never seen one in person, hoping after looking at a bunch of pictures online that I got close.

I don't know why I made this, I've never caught a fish on anything chartreuse. A work in progress, but I like what I have here so far. Dern I need to clean my cutting board!

Nice definitely work for fluke.

New chatter baits that I put together last night.  I didn’t pour the jigs just bought them unpainted from lure parts .com.  One is black and silver, blue gill, and a green pumpkin.  Hand bent the lure eyes

the blue gill I used disco green pro tech.  Skirt was blue gill from Easy Kasting and I added a half a strip of chartreuse.

1/2 oz Poison tail swim jigs and 1/4oz-1/2 inch brush jigs.  Couple of the brush jigs are finesse cut. Couple new skirt colors.  The black one is black with green flakes.  Bottom right natural craw. Top right ripple cut blue olive.

I’ve got like a $100 jig skirt order coming soon.  So I’ll be busy for a while. 2 new pro tech paints are coming with order which, are baby bass and black blue flake.  That baby bass color with the baby bass skirt should look really cool

Not sexy but I have had a lot of requests for some of these so I made a mold.

I’m feeling pretty good about these 3.6 flat worms. Going to try a weightless presentation in addition to the obvious drop shot and Ned.

I’ve also had a lot some luck with these 4” hook slots.

That's right up my alley. Looks good!

Here’s the rest of the collection for the upcoming tournament. Some regular weedless and some with an underspin.

It’s been awhile since I made a fishing lure. I’ve been getting back to furniture and completed 4-5 pieces lately. But I figured I wanted to do something that could be completed in a few hours instead of a few days. So, back to carve and paint a fishing lure. This one is a spinner crank bait. Never made one before. Made of yellow birch (I had some left over from a dresser I just completed) and as usual I make everything but the hooks and in this case, the spinner blade. Click the picture to see it made.

This winter, with 4 ft of ice on my lake and the pandemic keeping us at home I made a few lures when I could. The ice is out now and I took them down to the dock on a balmy 54 degree day here in Maine to look at them in the water and take a few casts. The video ran while I did this. No fish here, just a bit of casting of 'first time in the water' lures with my Curado DC On a Dobyns Champion glass CB rod. Click below to view the short video.

Latest spinnerbait color, I was going for a realistic shad color. Stopped by a local lake today just to see what it looks like in the water and caught one on the second cast.

Awesome color!

I've been on a relief carving/foiling kick lately. Mostly building these for musky but bass will target them also.

These look awesome. What did you use to make your scale pattern, guessing its embossed on as it looks textured.

Rainbow trout, just wish the camera could catch the slight pink on the head.
