MountainMan83
@Harold Scoggins here is my first try using the iwata. A buddy wanted a Christmas present for his girlfriend. Not bad for the first project, but far from perfect. I've learned so much already, haha.
Harold Scoggins
Wow! Looks great to me. I'm glad somebody is getting some use out it. My wife took one look at it after I bought it for her and closed the box and went back to her brushes. I knew I would never use it, (paint and me don't go well together) and it was taking up space in my desk drawer. I hope it gives you years of service. Thanks for sharing your work.
DanielG
A couple more recent ones I made. They're lures three and four. I posted my first two earlier. Both about 3 inches long. This one made because I see it coughed up by bass on the deck more often than not. A deeper diving bill. This one because I wanted something very green...The next one will be very red.
Harold Scoggins
Did a run with purple candy paint. Added flashabou to one. I like adding the flash now and then, but I hate working with it.

Harold Scoggins
I enjoy painting and tying, but I will not pour em. Hot lead and me don't see eye to eye.

It's another great jighead color that you don't see on production jigs.
Harold Scoggins
Those Teflon weedguard pins work great when powder painting. Just make sure you remove them before curing in the oven. Paint comes off easily and the pins can be reused.

Harold Scoggins
Did my last batch of brown this afternoon. (unless I lose too many this year) Took it low and slow on the baking this time and there was no change in color. The garage floor showed that durability was achieved also.

I would throw that all day long in my region.
DanielG
My first segmented crankbait with a cloth hinge that sort of hides the segmentation. There's a video of the build... I also do my first fly tying. Well, actually a trailer treble hook fly. It came out sorta okay for my first fly. I can always exchange it if I make a better one.
Michigander
Tried my hand at tying some preacher-style bucktail jigs this year. Was getting bored of just tying silicone skirt jigs. Most of them still need weedguards glued in.
Mbirdsley
Getting bored so made some Arkie jigs. That summer craw pattern is new color I bought off eBay from jig junkie. Started having success late summer with the summer craw colors with plastic so I decided to do some jigs. trying something different with green and white arkies for dirty or chocolate milk water. Black colors seems only to work for me in clear water. blue I have not been able to go at all. So I’m hoping the green flake and white will work in dirty water also the water melon jig and skirts. The silver heads with black and silver will be made into chatter baits. still thinking I’m buying a swim jig, swim bait, and chatter bait mold
