I was already going bald so my head injury in May didn't help any and since I can't grow much hair on my head Ive been trying to grow out a goatee without a mustache.IMG_1888.thumb.JPG.f8b3da6057a048d3d06f476bd11599d3.JPGIMG_1890.thumb.JPG.16cb037fe069fb596db4530126f19a44.JPGIMG_1887.JPG.c26cb67f78609940718599557e204248.JPG

I shave my face and head clean usually twice a week. I started going bald at about 19 so I haven't had hair on my head for a very long time. I will occasionally rock a beard until I get sick of it, which usually only takes a month or so.

Goatish most of the time....but periodic maintenance only happens every 7 to 10 days....so mostly B, but a lot of A

I used to have a full, but trimmed, beard. Used to be brown, too! My wife asked me to shave the sides off to a circle beard. I did that for years.

Beard started turning gray, than white. Told her one day I was growing the beard back. Found out that some spots just weren’t growing hair. Evidently they migrated to my ears and nose lol.

This is about as good as it gets anymore. The mustache has a little color. But it’s fading fast!

You are one fortunate fellow.

Many years ago had a friend die instantly when a 2" nut fell from the top of a silo and struck him on top of Head.

I was pretty much always clean shaven for many years ( couldn’t grow much of a beard really anyway if I wanted until almost 30). A few years after I was married, I grew one out for a bit. I decided to shave it off again and my wife didn’t like that. She’s a high school librarian and said “ grow that thing back out, you look like a bloody teenager with no beard and it kinda creeps me out”. No problem for me, I wasn’t a fan of shaving all the time anyway. I pretty much just keep it about 1/2” long or so though, not a fan of a longer one.

I’ve had a full beard for around 35 years. I originally grew it because I didn’t like shaving every day, and I wasn’t happy with the company I worked for. Management didn’t like guys having them, but they couldn’t make you shave. Sooooo…I grew one as a passive aggressive way to thumb my nose at my boss. My wife liked it, so I kept it.

Only allowed to have a little bit with work, more than in the past but not much. Bad thing is to have facial hair, we have to have a mustache, which I don't like having. It doesn't help that my facial hair grows in red and looks kind of silly with my hair being brown.

My dad was the same way - dark auburn hair - bright red beard...at least the one time he grew one anyway.

I’m a calico, my hair used to be blonde (now it’s a lighter brown, my beard is red, my chin is brown, my mustache (which I don’t grow) is blonde as light as my hair used to be, and my eyebrows are almost black. Not sure what the heck is going on! ?

I tried it all and twice just to make sure it was as bad as I remembered.  I first had a mustache and since I get really, really tanned in the summer, my friends were telling me that I was going to get asked for my green card.  I then tried to grow a beard and I looked like an escapee from the Amish Mafia.  The second round of both was worse because by then it was salt and pepper.  Wife made me go back to clean shaven.  I’ll let it grow for a week on fishing trips but it comes off as soon as I get home.

Closest time I came to having a full beard was when I had surgery a few years ago.  I didn't shave for a week and my wife told me either I shave it off or she would.
