Ya - right...

https://www.indeed.com/career-advice/pay-salary/nhl-average-salary

What is the average salary for an NHL player?

The average salary for an NHL player is $2.69 million per year as of the 2019/2020 season, although that can vary a great deal across different teams and individual players.

The team that pays the lowest average salary in the NHL is the Toronto Maple Leafs, with an average of $1.54 million per year.

What is the minimum salary in the NHL?

As of the 2019/2020 season, the minimum salary for hockey players in the NHL was $650,000 per year.

I would have loved to make 1/10 of what their minimum is - even in IT, my highest salary was 55k.

Haha.  When was the last time the Cowgirls even won a playoff game?  Even so, they are clearly the best team in that division.

The Bills have to bust through at some point here.  Their only obstacle is getting past the Chiefs.

The other thing about fall...hoping for some cooler more comfortable weather.  This searing summer heat and dryness is oppressive.

Yeah, compared to other sports though. As far as making 1/10th of their salary, it's easy, you just have to be better at athletics than 99.9+% of the population (and have a good agent), so blame mom and dad...

Oh wow is them...

I reiterate - they're ALL overpaid...even the 'low paid' NHL guys.

HA! I'd say it's the money : )

Football season is good...growing up I loved the Minnesota Vikings (Tarkington, Alan Page, etc.), but stopped following them when they moved in to the dome. Panzies!

Liked the 49ers when they had Roger Craig and Tom Rathman in the backfield (I'm a Nebraska alum).

Liked the Giants during the Phil Simms days...mainly because I hated the Cowboys...why not cheer for their rival : )

My daughters became Chiefs fans about 5 years ago. Fun to watch.

Got in to fantasy football back in the early days...won two leagues, pocketed enough $$ to purchase a really nice deer rifle. Then quit...found that fantasy was ruining the way I watched football..."no, don't throw that TD to the stupid WR...throw it to my TE!!!"

I mainly watch College FB on Saturday, and then get after hunting/fishing/projects on Sundays. I will watch Sunday and Monday nights...

Football season is ramping up here for 6poundbass. A few camps so far this summer, skills day the next three Sundays, and official practice starts in a month. That’s the football I’m looking forward at this time.

Once that winds down, GO BLUE!
On Sunday, Bills Nation. This is their year.

I SECOND THAT

I can’t name one person on the team right now but remember, I’m an honorable mention fan.

What about excitement for fall fishing too?

Well, I haven’t had the boat in the water yet this year and I actually just got it back to my house last weekend and got it all cleaned up. I’ve been too busy getting things done around with the new house and everything. Once his football season starts we have three practices a week and games on Saturday. Half of those game are away games with the closest being 45 minutes away and the furthest about 2 hours so Saturday usually won’t work and Sunday is it. I’ll make the best of what opportunities I have. My days will be extremely limited but I’ll get out there.

My best friend in the Army was from Nebraska and we'd go see the GREAT Cornhuskers play under the GREAT Tom Osborne....... perhaps the greatest teams in college football history.

Yeah, I saw Osborne’s final game……….. they stomped a Tennessee team, led by Peyton manning

we got them back in ‘16 but that was no Tom Osborne huskers squad

that triple option was a sight to behold when it was running good

Lived in Omaha during the 70's and early 80's, nothing like Huskers vs the Sooners weekend.
