Not the biggest, a tournament winner or anything like that, but this one really struck me as a very healthy looking fish when I caught it.

I’ve gotten some very nicely colored smallmouth this year that I wish I had gotten pictures of, including one that was solid black. Slipped out of my hands over the side of the boat before I could take a pic

Got the LM of couple weeks back and my PB Smallie couple weeks before that. It has been a great year to be a Bass addict! Both on the TicklrZ with Medium spinning gear. What a blast!

This is the best colored bass in the thread IMO.  Vibrant is the word I would use to describe its color.

Caught this fish a few hours ago, and in all my years of Bass fishing, I've never seen a LGM that was as brown as this fish.    This is the most uniquely colored Bass I've ever caught.     Pics don't really do the brown justice.   The "browning" was all through his jaw, tongue, and front inside mouth area.

This spinnerbait fish had some relatively vibrant coloring,

even on the face & fins . . . . .

It looked completely different when I first caught it. Did the AJay trick and put it in the livewell for 5-10 minutes and it got all colored up. I put it in there to frantically search for my scale but couldn’t find it. Released the fish, got home, found it immediately haha

Yeah seems like he may have reeled in a fish or two in his day. The ajay trick I really messed up was not having my scale at the ready. It’s easy to forget when you catch dinks for months at a time like me haha. The ones I need to weigh happen about once or twice a year

Definitely this bass that I caught in the early spring! It was in my local glacial lake on a jerkbait.

^That is a perfect fish. I've loved them all, but I think I love ^THIS^ fish most of all.^

Going through my pictures from this year, the only conclusion I can draw is that I need to fish more. Anyway, here's a smallmouth. @TnRiver46 this is from the day that I chummed the water with a chocolate truffle.

I remember it well! Right after Craig said “doesn’t that yellow line scare off the fish?”
