Preferred alcohol by season...

So with the changing of the seasons I find my tastes changing as to what I want to imbibe. Winter I'm almost 100% a whiskey man anymore with an occasional dark beer thrown in. Summer its hard to beat an ice cold beer or Gin and Tonic. Spring and Fall I find myself enjoying wine...I'm into medium body reds. How about you guys?

Preferred by season?  I can’t predict what I’ll prefer tonight let alone by season. Probably easier to count what I DON’T prefer for a given season…..  yeah, there’s not much of that either.

I may be in the minority here but there is only one alcoholic beverage that even comes close being a preference for me and that is a light beer, preferably one made in Colorado ot St. Louis, MO.   I’ve never found a wine that I really like and I have tried lots of it.  I don’t drink slow enough for the hard stuff and I think I have tried most of it.

Fall is definitely beer.
Winter is beer also.
Spring? Beer.

Summer? You guessed it. Beer.

I’m a beer guy, although I only have a few a month. Where I live, there are breweries everywhere so I have plenty of delicious craft brews at my fingertips. The type of beer I prefer changes with the season, but I’ll never turn my nose up to a bitter, hoppy, juicy IPA.

Spring - IPAs, Mint Juleps, Mules

Summer - Pilsners, light lagers, mojitos, margaritas

Fall - brown ales, darker lagers, Manhattans

Winter - peated scotch, stouts

Year round - bourbon, ryes, american whiskey

big winter brown beers and summer is a combination I don’t pick often. More than happy to have a pils in winter though.

Beer year round when I do decide to have a drink.  My liver belongs in a 90 year old man.  I can’t drink much at all anymore.

I’m going to change it up a bit and try something new (to me). I’ve been hearing good things about it.

I'm primarily a light beer guy too.  In the summer time I like to have an occasional fruity beer like summer shandy.  My favorite is spotted cow but its only available in the great state of Wisconsin so I don't get to consume it a whole lot.  I don't do wine, I'm allergic to it.

I change 4 times a year.

Winter,  Busch light

Spring  Busch light

Summer Busch light

Fall       Busch light

My buddy brought me some spotted cow last year after his trip to Wisconsin. Maybe my hopes were to high because I wasn't super impressed by it.
