Chateau St Michelle Columbia River Cabernet has been my inexpensive go-to for a while. It is not a huge oaky California cab. It is softer and drinkable and fantastic with almost anything grilled or chocolate

I have that down to a science, after about 5 minutes she's all like "GO FISHING ALREADY!"...

I think you misses the brief. talking about your day while drinking a glass of wine is you asking her how her day was and then shutting up for 30 minutes while you drink wine.

LOL, if I'm late to get to the water, I'll start serenating her, (can't sing a note) that usually gets me out the door in record time, celebrated 25 last April, just like in fishing, I don't argue with results...,

  • DB mentioned Jammy Red Roo.  Not a wine guy in particular but,  I can drink me some Jammy Red.

Mad Dog was a staple at some of the parties I went to when I was younger.  Probably why I don't drink wine now.

Mad Dog was the wine of choice at tech school in the Air Force in the 70's, and not because it was any good.

Mad Dog and Old Milwaukee 14 oz cans, no wonder school went by in a haze.

Mad dog was the first wine I had and boones farm was the last. One reason out of many I quit drinking 40 years ago…?

I once got sick on MD 20-20 as a kid. I threw up, then for two days tasted it. Horrible rot gut stuff. I haven't drank any wine since.

Although I enjoy reading about Porsche’s, it is definitely not me on that forum?
