do you carry a pocket knife daily?

Leatherman skeletool, everyday…..all day

Yes, its mostly used to cut boxes, envelopes and straws but on occasion it's been used for just about any task you can think of.

I've been partial to Kershaw spring assist flippers but my buddy gave me a decent Spyderco knife. He designed and made magnetic holders for them for their sharpening jigs. He also got a new laser engraver so while the knife was free, the phrase he put on it does not allow me to carry it at work. I'd have a nice meeting with HR.

I always have my SuperTool within reach. The other day we were going to a nice restaurant for a special occasion and I got spiffed up real perty. Then I slid my ol ratty sheath on my belt and my woman said “ why don’t you leave that in the glovebox? “. Well fast forward two hours and guess who had the only bottle opener? Not me cause my wife made me leave mine in the car.

Have had the Swiss Army Classic SD keychain one mentioned above for years. Upgraded to a newer Rambler keychain model that adds a philips screwdriver and bottle opener.

Also keep an OG Leatherman in the glovebox.

i found a supertool300 on a boat ramp.  stepped on it.  it was rusty and crusted with grit.  i sent it in to donate it to them for their "hall of shame" display.  they reached out and laughed and asked for my address to send me one.  i reminded them, i found it.  they insisted.  it now rides in my kayak dry sack.  very useful tool.  cotter pins, etc.

I carry two, a pocket knife and my Leatherman.

I recently picked up a new one. Well, we are all acquainted with the Bait Monkey and now I'm getting to know the Benchmade Bandit.

That’s awesome! The last Super Tool I bought was 120$. Totally worth every penny.

I usually do for various reasons. I need to find all mine- I just realized that most of the 10 or so that I have are missing. Thanks for the reminder ! Maybe it’s time to restock ! 😀

I usually carry a small pocket knife for daily use, but I'll up size if I know I'm going to do some type of cutting that day.

Benchmade

They make really nice blades.  Pricey though.

It's nice but you're right, pricey. It's hard to justify the cost but I used a 25% off coupon to a specific store that somehow is able to mark down their knives and I had a gift card from my works health app. The price ended up being around $125. Still expensive but not crazy.

never seen that one.  NICE!!!

I want one more.  the very ubiquitous, Osborne.   I've given away (other models) several to friends.  but I have always wanted an Osborne.  for Benchmade, I only have one left, the Bugout.    I'm in no hurry for the Osborne.   for a knife, I have been using my Giantmouse Ace Biblio mostly.  great knife.  tough to sharpen, but it does hold it.

Its the Mini Adira. The full size is pretty big for a pocket knife.  Also, I wish I would have bought the serrated edge version.  I needed to cut a piece of rope yesterday and it would have been helpful.

I almost always have my utility knife on me. Somehow between pocket knives, utility knives and buck knives, I’ve accumulated a few dozens of them. I’m not a collector. I guess they are just easy gifts for a guy who loves the outdoors.

Happy to see the love for SAK's. I carry two knives. A SAK and a clip in pocket knife for fast one handed use. When fishing ,I'll have a Leatherman on my belt.

Recently had an uncle pass and inherited a George jones knife that has a picture of the possum himself on one blade and the phrase “hi tech redneck” on the other blade. Might just leave that one in the box
