I did green pumpkin and methylate on some zoom trick worms. The green pumpkin worms didn’t get affected much, but the methylate with the preen pumpkin came out looking pretty cool.

If I’m going out on, or need to cross Lake George I keep an eye on the wind. It can kick up and ugly quick. I’ll see if there is a pattern, what time the winds pick up or die down. I usually fish the flooded cypress, but I keep an eye out the other boats out on the lake as I’m fishing to gauge how rough it’s getting.

Dang wish I had this problem Haha, mine loose thier eyes from bouncing off something or I loose the whole bait.

I probably sound like a broken record but, I only have two rigs with braid on them. One is my flipping and pitching in the ruff stuff and the other is for docks. I have mono, Berkeley Big Game, or Bass Pro Excel, on everything else. As for how to manage mono, I use line conditioner, use it when I’m spooling it. Frequently after that, I I will put it on the day before going fishing. I’m not a fan of braid, it a personal preference kinda thing. It’s too noisy…..Whirrrrrrr every time I cast, and when retrieving your line under a load. Nope don’t like it.

Dang…. I must be really cheap. I use old toilet paper rolls, they slip over the chuck on my drill. Just wind it up.

Most trailer tires age out before they wear out. I don’t hardly use my trailer, I cover them after soaking them with 303 from time to time. They still check out, and crack.

I usually wear Colombia, or the Walmart or Bass Pro knock off……. I get them from thrift store or yard sales. I didn’t know TW gave out shirts, how much do ya have to spend….. All I get is a sticker! Dang.

You can try different style of soft plastics, ribbon/ curly tailed worms, creature baits, lizards. That way your still Texas rigging them weedless. Top waters too, silver/ black back, popper or pencil style. Walmart has inexpensive ones to start out. THE BAIT MONKEY WELCOMES BOTH OF YOU.

Wish I would have seen this a few hours ago. I just left Bass Pro, had time between appointments. I swear I was just going to look around and kill some time. @Glenn is part in blame here, he just did a video of the cool hook with a swivel for neko rig, by Gamasuko ( how ever you spell it) so I had to look for it….. then I wanted nail weights to go with it. Then I saw some thing else, then I spotted line conditioner. Now I’m sitting at my next appointment, wondering what happened. Might have to bring in my bag of stuff and try and trade for my MRI. hahaha

I use to install shooting ranges, lots of steel, lots of hrs a day. I wore Carolina boots, I’ve tried many pair, and they are my favorite boots. I had one pair that I had new soles put on three times before the uppers gave up the ghost. Great company too, they stood behind their boots. A pair of their off boots failed, all the threads fell apart. Contacted them, they sent me to a store for exchange, they wanted my defective ones for quality inspection.

I use an old Shimano Chronach 7:5. I got it at yard sale.

My top water rig has mono- Big Game 12lb mono.

I agree, It would be hard for any of us to do that. Especially when I look at our tackle alone, then look at a kid fishing with a Zebco 33, and a cup of worms. Probably catches as much if not more too. Haha. Having an extra motor is not a bad thing ether, especially when you do that “look around” and see nothing but water.

I know a young couple, like @mcipinkie stated has the latest and greatest. They are in debt to their eyeballs, they have to work 80-100 hrs a week just to keep their stuff. He told me the other day, “we’ve got all this stuff and no time to enjoy it because we have to work to keep it”
