crown jewels stolen
I didn't know the Swedish Royal Family had crown jewels. Maybe they are made out of the same stuff Swedish Fish are. I suggest they search the rooms of every child from 6 to 10 years old in the country.

Why is there such a hate for pickerel?!?
I don't....but my sister does when she uses them as fertilizer in her yard. Trust me there are plenty in the lake I fish.

Why is there such a hate for pickerel?!?
I can't stand pickerel. Where I fish the lake has way too many and, as others have stated, they destroy lures if you don't just flat out lose a lure to them. That combined with the thrashing they do in the boat and the slime they leave on everything is enough for me to hate them.

What other hobbies/passions
I started following the UFC when it first came out on VHS (yea I'm old). The early years of UFC were quite different than it is now. They fought 3 times in one night. It wasn't uncommon for one of the final competitors to be unable to compete do to injuries suffered in a previous match. I was a huge boxing fan back in the late 70's/early 80's. In the days of "Sugar" Ray Leonard, Tommy "Hitman" Hearns, and "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler. My father took me to see Muhammad Ali's training camp in Deer Lake, PA. I even remember a young Mike Tyson fighting on ESPN.

Do i have an unorthodox opinion on Killing fish (in general for all purposes)
It seems like the people on both extreme ends of this spectrum are just too hardcore about their beliefs. Somewhere in the middle is where I take my stand. Call it common sense or just being normal but if someone keeps what they catch and its legal, ok. If they release everything they catch, so be it. I release most of the fish I catch because I don't eat much fish anymore and I don't want to waste the resource. I've seen people catch and keep some big fish and even seen one guy with a limit of big smallies in a cooler on the Susquehanna. I know there are more in there and I can't wait to catch them.

Post a photo a day!
Not really a picture, more of a screen shot of why I'm angry at mother nature. Normally this time of year the water level on the Susquehanna is low and in the evenings the bass will position themselves just below riffles to get cool, oxygenated water through their gills. I think it might be awhile till that happens.

- looking for largemouth water in and around Chester County PA
I'm not from that area but have fished most of the lakes you mentioned. Timing is everything. With pressured lakes, early mornings or later in the evening can be better. Most of the boats aren't on the water at those times. If your schedule doesn't allow it then I would recommend small ponds if you can find them. Unless you have a boat, fishing a lake is tough. Also if you run across a waterways conservation officer (guppy cop) talk to him. He may be able to point you in the right direction. Google earth has been very helpful for me finding small ponds in my area but, as always, get permission first.- Rate the song above you

Its so hot...- Bunnies....bunnies EVERYWHERE in my neighborhood
pfft...transplants ?- Eggs vs no eggs weight
Not all from eggs but I bet they made a difference.- Puzzeling Situation
30 bucks...keep it and consider it a refund for some of the Chinese junk you bought over the years.- Bought a new boat, lots of questions
I would make a checklist of all the things needed to be done before you leave your house. Include things like checking battery water levels and charges, checking trailer lights and plug, making sure you have rain gear onboard and make sure you have water or some way of hydrating yourself. Next thing is to make a checklist for when you prepare to launch your boat. Include removing bow strap and rear straps, attaching launch cord, PUT IN DRAIN PLUG, and plugging in trolling motor. A friend of mine is a checklist freak and he never forgets a thing when he goes out with his boat. More good advice I got from him is to set aside a small area in your garage/shed/basement to put all the things you take out of your boat. Things like rods and reels, tackle, and any accessories you need. That way you know where things are at instead of being scattered around.- Other Species Bucket List
I agree. The destination is half the fun of catching a unique species. For me, just being out on a boat in the Keys or Venice, LA would be a blast. Even without fishing.- Cowanesque, Hammond, Tioga Lake
I've heard, only heard, that Hammond is incredible for pan fish. Big crappie and plenty of them.- In the market for a Boat ($15,000 budget)
@USMC22 Your question is tough to answer without knowing what the specifics are. Things like hp restrictions, lake size, number of people you're fishing with, and are you fishing tournaments or just for fun are questions that will help you determine what kind of boat you need. Don't forget to take into account weather. I know on some lakes I wouldn't be caught dead in anything smaller than a 18' boat because of potential for rough weather. Good luck.- My fish of the year
If you'll take 210 pounds of luggage with you, I'll volunteer to stuff myself into a suitcase. ? That is a monster fish Mike.- Other Species Bucket List
