  1. -Bomber Square A crankbait -Frogs -Buzzbaits -Spinnerbait -Soft Plastics- Brush Hog & Bass Pro Stik-O
  2. I did rearming kits in both of my life jackets in March this year. ?
  3. Looks like a scam site to me looking at the prices are about half-price of normal products. I'll be amazed if you ever receive anything. You might check your credit card account also. **Red flag when you see cheap/half-price websites.**
  4. I've been using Bass Pro Stik-O for the past couple seasons. They have 5-3/8 in some certain colors you can get a 30 pack for $10.99 which is a pretty good deal. They have a good variety of sizes/colors 3"-7". They have a good fall rate very close to a Senko.
  5. Yeah I've been patiently waiting, I had to get one more to full fill my last rod that was missing a reel.
  6. Daiwa Tatula CT Casting Reel on discount on Tackle Warehouse $89.99
  7. I received some goodies yesterday when I got home.
  8. I always have a crankbait tied on, I have a lot of confidence with them. I had a few 20-40 fish days using a crankbait this past season. If they are biting the crankbait I'll be throwing it until I feel the need to change.
  9. Shipped my package out yesterday.
  10. Only the CG80 & previous Tatula CT.
  11. Visit Tackle Warehouse on their homepage for the 25 Days of Savings. The Tatula CT is listed day 12. The Tatula CT is the previous version with red spool/tension knob. Still a very good reel I have 5 of them.
  12. I have a few 6th Sense crankbaits & swim jigs, they have good sticky hooks on their baits. I would assume their hooks should be pretty good.
  13. Daiwa Tatula CT will be on sale Tackle Warehouse Dec 18th sale. It will be on sale 30-41% just don't know exact discount yet on the reels listed. I'd say pick which one you like the best. I have a good number of Daiwa reels, that is what I use. I've tried the Fuego CT but I prefer the Tatula CT.
  14. The feeling when you are waiting for fishing tackle.
  15. I usually use acetone or 90% alcohol to clean inside reels to remove old oil/grease in bearings/gears. I use old toothbrushes & q-tips. I use oil in bearings & grease on gears. If my reels become dusty or scummy throughout the season on the exterior I use a damp cloth on the exterior and give it a couple sprays with Meguiar's detailing spray on the exterior and wipe down with micro-fiber cloth. The only reason I would use water/dish soap would be to clean the exterior of the reel that was covered in mud before you do a complete teardown/service.
  16. I have 2- Daiwa Fuego CT 7.3:1 Right Hand I'm gonna sell. PM me if you would be interested.
  17. I'll typically spend a bit more on the rods. All of my rod/reel equipment was purchased on sale/discount so I've never spent full price. Most of my rod/reel setups go from $225-325
  18. I'm a Daiwa or Shimano guy, I've never tried anything else.
  19. I've purchased lures & hooks from them several times, never had any issues. ?
  20. I would say that the Fury rods are probably one of the most popular rods for the price. They are a good quality rod for the price. I have a Fury 705CB that I use for crankbaits & Fury 735 that I use for frogging. I've used to have a couple Sierra rods also. The Sierra series are nice rods also. I also have 4 Champion XP rods . Dobyns rods are very nicely balanced and feel great in hand. If you want one of the most versatile rod model would be a 734. If your looking for a quality lower entry/price rod, check out the Fury.
  21. I went with my dad about 25 years ago on a road trip to Missouri. We went there in his old truck to drop off some equipment that he sold to another business. We stopped at Bass Pro Shops back when it was probably the only Bass Pro at the time. So we picked up some tackle and decided to go do some fishing, so we ended up at Pomme de Terre Lake. Since we had some new tackle we started fishing, I had fished around some rocks with a crankbait and caught a few there. Then the fish started schooling close to where we were fishing so I had a new Zara Puppy and had caught 20+ fish. I made a cast and my bait went flying off my cast. So my dad went for a swim about 20 yards to save my lure to bring it back so we continue catching some more fish.
  22. I'd wait til the end of Monday at least if not Tuesday.
  23. I have a Fury 735 coming in tomorrow, I'm mainly going to use for frogs.
  24. Never heard of them, I'd get the receipt and return it if possible. Buy a Shimano, Daiwa or Lews.
