Fall Crankbait Tips
Somebody needs to tell Drew about the Lews BB1 in a 5.1:1 gear ratio.

Crankbait Identification
The top one is a Bandit shallow Flat Max. The color is Louisiana Shad. This has been a very good color for me. Not sure what the other one is.

9-11-2001 - Where were you?
I was at work that day driving my van from place to place doing maintenance work. I remember going back to the shop to pick up some parts I needed. All of our offices had a tv in them. As I walked past one office I saw several of the supervisors and foreman watching tv. I walked in to see what was happening. That is when I found out the first plane had just hit the tower. Went through the rest of the day in disbelief that this was really happening.

favorite spinnerbaits for late summer/early fall
I use War Eagle spinnerbaits most of the time. Love the Screaming Eagles in either Spot Remover or Mouse colors. I don't trim the skirts and very rarely ever put a trailer on one.

Post a photo a day!
I would want to see him try to back it down the ramp if the boat did stay with the trailer.

Automobile Paint Question
I have been working on giving my wifes car a good cleaning and waxing. Sadly I have let this go for too long. The top is really dirty. I have gone over part of it with bug and tar remover and got some of it off. My question is if I get one of these Clay Bar systems is it safe for older vehicles? This is a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe. Any other recommendations? Any help is appreciated.

Almost Fell Out the Boat...
You're lucky. My wife wants me to get a bigger boat that won't fit in the garage so she can get her car in there.

How Long Is Your Average Fishing Outing ??....
Since my wife started going with me most trips on the boat are 5 to 6 hours since she doesn't like to be out a long time. I am okay with that. If I was by myself it would be 8 to 9 hours and maybe longer if they are biting real good.

Favorite Crankbait Color
I don't know if I really have a favorite color. If I had to pick just one it would be the Louisiana Shad color in the 200 series on the old Bandit crankbaits.

Who else has hit a deer, moose, cow or other large animal while pulling a boat?
I guess over all it was a good day. We caught fish and the deer didn't break through the windshield and land on top of us. That is what I thought was going to happen and we would end up in the hospital.

Who else has hit a deer, moose, cow or other large animal while pulling a boat?
I was riding with a fellow I fished with a several years ago. We were coming back from a fishing trip. We were in a Chevy Colorado and pulling a Nitro bass boat. This was probably around 4 P.M. I saw two deer on the other side of the road and this was a four lane road. They suddenly decided to cross the road in front of us. One made it and the other one tried to jump over the front of the truck. It hit the truck and bounced off the top of the truck and front windshield. Luckily it didn't break the windshield. It landed beside the truck and finally got up and went on. There was no major damage to the truck. We found a few little dents in it and some deer hair around some of the weather stripping when we checked it out after we got back.

Brakes or Magnets?
I guess I have been old school for too long. My first baitcasters were the old red Ambassadeur 5000 reels. All you had were two arms with small pieces of cork for brakes and the spool tension knob. I just never changed other than adjusting centrifugal brakes as need for the conditions with the newer reels.

Brakes or Magnets?
The only Daiwa reels I own are spinning reels. I would rather have the centrifugal brakes on a baitcaster. I never wanted a reel that only had magnetic brakes.

Do you grab a bass mouth with your left or right hand?
I bought one of them and I haven't caught a bass on crankbait since then. They have all been caught or soft plastics, jigs, or spinnerbaits.
