  1. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  2. I agree with you. I use 12# floro on mine.
  3. Mono is all I use. I don't have any areas to fish with a lot of grass or lily pads. I am throwing poppers and walking baits. I quit wasting my time with frogs and toads a long time ago. I never had any luck with them.
  4. The only one I have tried is the Magnum Finesse Worm. I have caught a few fishing it as a Texas rig with a sinker on the bottom. I tried it weightless fishing it like a senko but never caught anything like that. I really like Zoom products but I have been very disappointed with this one.
  5. I avoid getting on the water on all holiday weekends. Don't have any plans at all for the holiday. Everyone have a good holiday and stay safe.
  6. I would agree with you about the worm. I would pick the Zoom Ultra Vibe Speed Worm.
  7. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  8. Hello and welcome back.
  9. I had my boat in the shop to get the water pump replaced a few years ago. The dealer told me the fuel lines needed to be replaced. They were not bad yet but said ethanol would damage them after a while. They replaced them with some that ethanol can't damage. I don't remember a specific name or type of material they told me the lines were made of.
  10. Hello and welcome to the forum. I completely understand about dealing with arthritis. I am in the same shape you are but I still get the boat out some.
  11. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  12. I would add buzzbaits and topwater poppers. Put some Baby Brush Hogs or other creature baits in addition to the worms.
  13. If you have a compressor I would blow all the lines for the live well to make sure no water is left in them. My boat has a built in gas tank. It is recommended to fill the tank and add fuel stabilizer for winter storage. I run fuel stabilizer and ethanol treatment in mine year round. If you have oil injection fill up the oil tank.
  14. I totally agree with you on that. My best day this year hasn't been that good.
  15. I use a Zoom Twin Tail Grub or an Ultra Vibe Speed Craw for jig trailers.
  16. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  17. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  18. I bought a telescopic rod several years ago from BPS. After I got it home I wasn't sure it was what I wanted or what problems might happen with that type of rod. I never unwrapped it or took any paperwork off of it. I took it back and traded it for 6'6" casting rod. Glad I did as I have used it a lot more than I would have ever the other one.
  19. I never use a trailer on a buzzbait.
  20. With the Ollie's store here it usually a crap shoot as to whether they will have anything in fishing. The last time I was there they didn't have a fishing section.
  21. When I am having a tough day I usually go to a Zoom Centipede On a 1/0 hook and 1/16 ounce sinker on a spinning rod. This has saved a day for me many times.
  22. Hello and welcome to the forum.
  23. I normally use florocarbon for jigs and Texas rigs but I wouldn't hesitate to use mono on these if I needed to. I still use mono for crankbaits and spinnerbaits. I love Sufix Siege 12# on baitcasters and 10# on spinning gear.
  24. I saw that on our news but they didn't say what type of fish it was.
  25. That would be used in commercial buildings around here but not in residential. Yeah we still staple wire.
