My Leatherman got tangled in the anchor rope and what seemed like slow motion I hollered with my arms stretched forward, diving to save my friend of 5 years from a watery grave . Too late . He slipped below the surface without a sound , descending out of my sight within seconds. My heart broke as I thought of all those times my trusty SuperTool was unjustly used as a hammer or a prybar , saving me a trip to the pickup truck. He should have retired and spent the rest of his days comfortably resting in the bottom of my sock drawer , but no. We had a hats off moment of silence and said nice words about him and that was a good story, huh?

I’m praying for you. That’s a miserable situation you’re in right now, but it won’t be long till you’re peeing over the fence.

I always get sleepy after Thanksgiving dinner. Not sure why, but I like it.

My son just lost his friend in the same manner. He was 16.

The other day I forgot that I had tossed my pee jug in the trash and had to use a minnow bag. It was awkward.
