Did that, 3 times. Still no stickie in shipment and one order was $200.00.

Went to DSG for some Yum hellgramites and found a few extras. They had buy five clearance items get five free. I had a coupon and some score card cash. I got all this for $45 but some is for a buddy of mine. I didn't need any of it. Thanks Monkey. 

 

 

Always been intrigued by DC reels and the release of the Met 70 at jdm rates was just too good for me to pass up. 

 

I'll be using it primarily for spinner baits when the wind picks up, so of course I had to add some more sv-3's. 

 

I'm curious how these Geecrack finesse swimbaits will do compared to Keitechs and largos.

Just pulled one out of the package to check and it's more conventional with a little more hefty/durability feeling than I would have anticipated. Also, now my fingers smell like overly ripe corn chips. 😆

Minn Kota Endura C2 30lb thrust trolling motor on clearance at Walmart for $66. 

Stocking up on some basics that I was running low on for the year from BPS and Tackle Warehouse. Also picked up a few new items to try including the Picasso spinnerbaits recommended by @FishTank.

Not the best lighting but here it is next to the regular Met. The DC is quite dark... I'd describe it s dark gray bordering on almost black.

I have been waiting for the chatter spikes to show up locally, and I had to round out my evo collection also. I wanted to try the rods that I got also. I should be good till tomorrow lol. I am going to sleep, 11pm is going to come fast and the weather sucks so I am not testing any of this out for a minute.

 

Although my rod testing backlog is around 9 deep at this point maybe a little more. Just gotta tell myself no more rods lol, at least reel monkey hasn’t been knocking lately.

Little spring haul. Missing my Shimano Poison Ultima that I'm going to pair with the new reel. 

Got a tacklewarehouse order in today. Not pictured is the spro crawler and the Daiwa airdx rod I paired with the tournament pro. That combo weighs less than 12 ounces, it's so light. Perfect for throwing a choppo 75 all day. Love the spro crawler, casts a mile and looks great in the water

I’ve been throwing a lot of 6th sense lately. Why? I don’t know, but for whatever reason I have. I went into my local academy yesterday and noticed their 6th sense inventory was much larger than it used to be. Most swimbaits in stock, terminal tackle, soft plastics and hard baits. Pretty much most of the stuff from their website. Seems like my academy always has stuff on sale too…
