Bought these from my favorite ebay vendor.

I resist looking at their auction page. So dangerous with the lots they offer.

I keep saying I won't buy another rod but that didn't stop me today. I bought the one rod I said I would never get. There are a lot of rods that are overkill, this one might be near the top. It was definitely not on my radar but the price I got it for, I couldn't pass it up. I was actually interested (really just looking) in the IMX Pro version for a dedicated Jackhammer and spinnerbait rod and this one came home instead.

This one fell in the basket as well but it was on purpose.

Didn’t purchase anything, but was driving back to N Alabama from the Atlanta area, and my truck veered off the road in Acworth. I figured since I had already veered off the road, I might as well stop by Bass Pro and see what people are throwing at Lake Acworth… it appears not much when you drive by the lake on I75 and realize it has to be down some 20’. Any local Georgians confirming that?

Thanks.

This was the find of the day though. I ripped it out of package as soon as I got to my truck.  Lucky Craft LV500 in Ghost French Pearl OB.  Never seen this color before.

Well I grabbed a few more smaller things and some braid for my bfs reel if I decide to go with it in the future.

4 countdown elite 55 3/16oz

3 countdown 3 1/16

3 1/8oz rattle traps

3 yo zuri shad 40f 1/16oz that have really nice colors

1 duo rozante 63sp 5 grams

2 duo rozante 77sp 8.4 grams

2 rapala x rap 4 1/16oz

2 size 4 ice fishing jig heads

1 size 5 ice fishing jig head

1 spool 8lb j braid grand 8 dark green

colors of lures mostly black and gold, silver and black, silver and blue. The three staples for the most part. Jerk bait colors for the duo 63 neo pearl, duo 77 prism gill, gold yamame, x rap 4 colors glass ghost, hot mustard muddler.

The ice fishing jig heads are for some euro tackle 0.75, 0.50 soft plastics that I bought. I will say that it’s really hard to find a jig head with a small hook and weighs 1/32oz or more lol.

The total weight is between 1-1.5 grams on the plastics and ice fishing jig heads

Phenix Feather ML casting rod to go with my SLX bfs reel. Got the two piece so I can store it in the Decked drawer in the bed of the truck.

Ok, that’s it,,,,,,for now. I’m serious 🧐

One reel came in. Still waiting on a new Steez and some other tackle to show up.

I will say this, after going over this reel,  it's like Shimano took a Bantam, the 20 Metanium, and few parts from the Antares 70A and came up with this. It doesn't exactly feel like a Metanium and it doesn't feel a Bantam.  It's like all the things I like from Shimano rolled into one reel. To be honest,  they could have tweeked the frame a little and called it something else. We will see what does on the water.

"Needed" a versatile travel swimbait rod to keep in the truck, so I picked up a Valkyrie World Expedition 711XH. Looks and feels like it's going to be a great addition.

And of course I had to pick up some more swimbaits with the addition of the travel rod...

@Derek1 We’ll see if any bass like it. Probably going to T-rig it with an Owner Oversized Worm Hook. Will probably have to trim a couple segments off the tail for a jig trailer.

Oh Scheels, why are you going backwards on us. The scheels branded ball headed jigs are more expensive with less jigs per package than Eagle Claw jigs at Wallmart.

Example, the scheels 1/16 oz ballhead jigs cost 2.99 for 8 jigs in the package. The Eagle Claw at wallmart cost 2.42 and 10 jigs per package regular price.

I was at wallmart the other day and bought 5 packs of different colored 1/16 oz eagle claw jigs on sale for .50 cent for pack of 10.

My Walmart doesn't usually have much for sales, but they sure do right now. Like mentioned earlier in this thread, Shad Raps for $2. They were all picked over. Certain KVD 1.5's for $2. Berkley pre-rigged Swim Shads. Never used these before but they were marked down to $1.50. Each bait is pre-rigged. The main reason I wondered to the fishing section is because I've been wanting to get some of the Cuda 8" titanium snips. They're usually $14, but were marked down to $3.50! So I grabbed a few.

Simmons?  If so, I love them.  They are the Lucky Craft king.

I was going to get the new Steez SV TW or the Metanium Shallow Spool but even at the JDM price the Steez was pretty steep and I just ordered a Metanium 100. So for $50 less than the new Steez SV, I got the 21 shallow spool Steez Limited. I got the best of both reels and then some. It's crazy buttery smooth, like an Anteras but its probably half the weight.
