I'm guessing your summering up north.

No I’m in FL full time unless I’m on a fishing trip or vacation with the wife. That pic was from my last trip to Baccarac.

Fancy dinner for the wife’s birthday. Saw a big bear and lightning struck right in front of our faces too….. mountains can be a little ominous in a thunderstorm IMG-0830.jpg

Call that a tumbleweave.

I was looking for something entirely different in my imgur account the other day when I ran across a memory from the time I got one caught in my weedeater. I didn't think I'd ever get it unwrapped.

That was a humdinger of a summer storm last night.

Happy birthday to the missus, btw.

Doesn’t get more scenic than an Adirondack sunrise.

Got the morning off, so I took off up the mountain to some water I don't get to see very often.

Didn't catch nothin', but it was fun getting up there. I got this before the fog lifted.

Also @TnRiver46 here's the emergency helipad I was telling you about yesterday.

Oh!!!! I was thinking one more dam upstream. I’ve launched there in your pic many times . I can’t even imagine how blood stained that ground is, between all the Native American activity plus hundreds of motorcycle crashers being airlifted

Yeah, it's down there at the bottom of the mountain. I reckon they just picked the biggest spot they could where they wouldn't have to do any work to make it happen. I think the donut strips on the helipad paint are fitting for the road. lol

Didn't realize the snide comment about someone's haircut, "What happened, weedeater run out of gas?" indeed was an occurrence in the wild.

Hope your grandson is doing okay.

Many days on my home lake I watch one of those fly over.    Easy to forget there is somebody inside most likely on the edge of life and death.   I love helicopters.

We left the ER and his fever was down. Back over 104 today. Said it's a viral thing. Playing it by ear right now

A neat shot last night as the sun was headed down and reflecting off the water, with the fountain in the background. The bait is probably about 40 years old, part of the Bagley Small Fry lineup that was introduced in 1979. Haven’t seen anything as delicately balanced as this thing, and the bass were fairly impressed with it, also. Caught about a dozen on it.

I deal with the hustle and bustle of the city every day. Thankfully I get to come home to this area every night!
