Global Moderator TnRiver46 Posted June 12, 2023 Global Moderator Posted June 12, 2023 Fancy dinner for the wife’s birthday. Saw a big bear and lightning struck right in front of our faces too….. mountains can be a little ominous in a thunderstorm 12 Quote

I was looking for something entirely different in my imgur account the other day when I ran across a memory from the time I got one caught in my weedeater. I didn't think I'd ever get it unwrapped. 1 7 Quote

galyonj Posted June 13, 2023 Posted June 13, 2023 Got the morning off, so I took off up the mountain to some water I don't get to see very often. Didn't catch nothin', but it was fun getting up there. I got this before the fog lifted. Also @TnRiver46 here's the emergency helipad I was telling you about yesterday. 3 Quote

I was thinking one more dam upstream. I’ve launched there in your pic many times . I can’t even imagine how blood stained that ground is, between all the Native American activity plus hundreds of motorcycle crashers being airlifted 1 Quote
galyonj Posted June 13, 2023 Posted June 13, 2023 Yeah, it's down there at the bottom of the mountain. I reckon they just picked the biggest spot they could where they wouldn't have to do any work to make it happen. I think the donut strips on the helipad paint are fitting for the road. lol 1 Quote

Super User Team9nine Posted June 17, 2023 Super User Posted June 17, 2023 A neat shot last night as the sun was headed down and reflecting off the water, with the fountain in the background. The bait is probably about 40 years old, part of the Bagley Small Fry lineup that was introduced in 1979. Haven’t seen anything as delicately balanced as this thing, and the bass were fairly impressed with it, also. Caught about a dozen on it. 10 Quote
