First deps fish

On my way to the lake Monday morning. That's not snow on the road, it's hail.

Spring is like that girl at school who you were prepared to do anything for and who would bat her eyes at you, but never give you a second glance unless she wanted something. Constant disappointment over hope!

Awesome.  I think my wife took a similar picture a few years ago.  I'll have to check with her.  We were driving through a small town in PA (or maybe MD) and there was a small dammed up stream on the edge of town.  There was an elderly gentleman using a folding lawn chair like that walker above to wade out to the middle.  He went out to a big, flat rock just below the surface - out in the middle - and set the chair down and fished from it.  Great scene.

My little one and me celebrating our birthdays a few weeks back.  It was 20+ years ago when she arrived at the hospital as my birthday present. I am blessed in that she and her sister will still go fishing and to a ball game with their dad...

I don't know why this makes me laugh - but it does.
