The entire shoreline of hl was littered with dead fish of all species right after ice-out, I've never seen such a massive fish kill on that lake before.  Must have been the low oxygen levels for such a long time this winter, I'm guessing.

My dog anytime I try to relax on the couch.

Case in point.

After 7 months of not having any "mommy and daddy" time. We finally snuck out of the house and had a good meal and a few cold ones.

me and a friend took our grandsons down to MCRD at Parris Island, SC today. we left town at 4 am this morning and just got back home a little while ago. i hadn’t seen the place since i graduated from boot camp, almost 40 years ago. good times ?

My “keys” to get into work tomorrow. 60-70 mph gusts today.

 

 

So this is what happens when you purposely jacknife your trailer to unload the sled from the truck, and forgot you tied two 2x6s to that side of the trailer. Not the best start to a work day!

 But I did some “redneck body shop work” when I got home, took off the taillight and pried her back open with my ice chisel ?.  Not perfect, but good enough for a 2012 work truck.

Always cracks me up how crazy he gets when he gets to play in the snow.
