5 people in our house 2 have upper respiratory infections with strep throat & my wife has a severe sinus infection. Pretty sure I'm catching one of em.

Y'all pray for my grandson Aiden he was walking around behind his older sister with a little wooden cross & a can of Lysol spray saying, get behind thee Satin!

I think she's gonna kill him!

Hoping all of you get feeling better soon Catt.

Sorry to hear it. We’re dealing with Turkey day leftovers, seems someone passed the plate of Covid. Even with all the shots it still sucks.

There are a lot of bugs floating around out there right now.  Influenza and RSV are two very common viruses right now.  Our immune systems haven't seen some of these in years and now we're all being exposed again at the same time.

Girlfriend works at a daycare and a while back they had like 3 cases of influenza, 4 cases of covid, 4 cases of rsv and 2 cases of strep at the same time-she ended up with strep but I lucked out. Buddies little girl has RSV ...told me yesterday. I've been having some breathing issues the past week or so but no other symptoms. Pretty common for me in winter tho..when it gets cold and dry my asthma flares up. Time to get a small humidifier!

Those are the worst.  My kid goes to one four days/week.  They are petri dishes and it spreads like wild fire.

kids are walking cesspools

My nephews 2 month old son, as well as a co workers 6 week old daughter were in the hospital for a while with RSV.  Myself and Mrs B had what the Dr called a "respiratory virus" last week.  My 87 year old Dad had it too.  We're all OK now.  I don't usually get sick.  I had a fever as high as102 and felt like I had been ran over by a truck for a couple days.

Hope everyone gets well soon.

Same here.  Grandson was dropped off just before the holiday with a 101 fever. Yes, positive for COVID-19 and thus my wife tested positive a few days later. I have tested negative but qualify a a roofer because I have Shingles.  First time for that.  The meds are a tablet the size of a AAA battery. This too shall pass.

There's a really bad intestinal flu going around. Actually that's what they call it but it's an intestinal virus. Flue affects respiratory areas. This gets you going both ends, lasts a day or two but feel bad up to 2 weeks after. Extremely contagious. Passed by fluids so wash thy hands. We haven't had it yet but know of entire families getting it after getting together for Thanksgiving. They seem to get it the same day. stay safe everyone.

Zinc. Take a Zinc table once a day to help avoid and reduce any respireatory problems.

Works better than orange juice.

Local grown honey ?

I did end up with a sinus infection, something I've dealt with since the 70s when I lived in Houston & breathed all the clean air.

Kids are a germ factory which I have at home. My wife is a traveling dog groomer so she’s in and out of peoples houses all day every day. As for me, my work truck is my office, and if I’m around people it’s outside. So I’m for the most part away from the germs until I get home. ?

The one good thing about this COVID deal has been hand sanitizer. I use it whenever I go in some place which has helped keep me from getting sick the past couple years.

My wife was a 4th grade teacher for well over 20 years before she retired. I called her students the ‘Walking Biohazards’ because she always brought home their germs and gave them to me. ?

Not fun. My wife and kids are always getting sick in the winter months with something. I credit me working in the environment I have for so long with building up my immune system so I don't seem to get it nearly as often as they do.

Of the 5 people in the house 3 are girls, 2 are boys. The girls spend most of their time indoors. The boys spent most of their time outdoors.

The girls caught it, the guys didn't...just saying!

Hope everyone is better soon @Catt. I was talking to a man at church sunday and after we shook hands he said” I had covid this week “ ?

Nobody I know had it since my friend died from it last year.
I reckon I’m a little gun shy. As soon as I could, I slipped over to the disinfectant . I looked back and he was watching me…

Its been a strangely un-sick year around here overall though.

I should’ve kept my big mouth shut! The wife has been sick since Sunday and yesterday I started to feel the crud. Today, even more so. I’m still working but my tail is dragging.

My wife and son get sick a couple times a year and I’ve been lucky. The 1 time I say something on here, within 24 hrs I feel like crap. ?
