how much coffee do you drink?

Recommended Posts

I drink 3 or 4 regular size coffee cups every morning. I’m an early riser around 4:30 am.

Anywhere from a cup to a pot. Depends on how busy work is. Don't drink any coffee on the weekends.

60 oz of Columbian a day - 2 of my 30 oz Yeti mugs, one am and one evening and I sleep good.

One cup every morning, and sometimes if I’m out and driving by a coffee place I’ll hit the drive through and grab one, but not too often. It doesn’t seem to bother me one way or another if I drink more, so I don’t usually have more than one a day.

Like Mike Ditka once said, “coffee is the lifeline the fuels the blood of champions”.

I drink coffee all day. It’s one of my absolute favorite things in life. I sometimes drink decaf during the evening so my caffeine consumption isn’t so ridiculous, but it’s rare that I don’t have a cup I’m sipping at any given time. And the combo of fishing and coffee? It’s a perfect match.

I drink a 30oz cold brew m-f and rarely any on the weekend.  If it gets cold I may do a hot coffee but if I have a choice and can handle it not being hot, cold brew it is for me

I’ve tried it maybe three times my entire life. I drank Mt. Dew in the morning and throughout the day until age 19-20. Then it was iced tea. Now I drink water all day and a cup of iced tea every night.

By now I’m sure everyone knows what I drink on Friday night. 😎

I’m trying to drink less coffee, now. But that’s mainly because I like it strong. I was brewing just under half a pot and drinking it all first thing until recently. The last cup had me feeling like I needed to give my heart a break.

Just started a new job this week, so with that routine so far I’m at 1-1.5 cups in the morning. Then another cup around 3:00pm.

By sleeping, you mean fishing all night…..

I used to be able to drink coffee all the way up until I went to sleep. I miss those days.

So only about 6 8oz cups now. I love good coffee.

i quit drinking coffee when my 13 month deployment in alaska ended in 1984. The sun didnt come up till 10 am if there was any sun during the winter and got dark out at 4pm.

Military coffee strong and addicting with a 1 month of withdrawl headaches.

Nothing like a good djezve of coffee. I have always liked it—Efendi has the cardamom in it, I think.

I didn’t start drinking coffee until I was in my late 40’s.  I was always a workout guy and ate pretty well too.   I thought coffee was disgusting.  My wife really got into it so I gave it a try.  I do limit myself to one travel tumbler per day.  Drink it first thing at work and done.  I can’t believe I actually look forward to it most mornings.

30 oz Yeti mugs

That's what I use too.  I've lost two of them the past 3 years though because I left it sitting on the gunnel of my boat at the access, forgot it was there, and drove away.  They last forever, have tapered bottoms to fit in cup holders, and keep things hot (or cold) for hours on end.

Wife got me this 20oz travel mug...fits in the cup holder in the truck and on the boat...keeps things hot or cold for hours....there is a 30oz version of this available.

The first thing I do in the morning is put on a six-cup pot of 1/2-caffeinated coffee.   That fills up my small Yeti tumbler twice and keeps my doctor from complaining too much.

Two cups in the morning. Sometimes I'll drink a cup in the afternoon.

I used to do a lot of bicycling.  In those circles, coffee/caffeine is known as the ultimate legal performance drug.

Every so often, I try decaf but just can't be happy with the flavor.  What brand do you like?

Sometimes, if I want a cup later in the day, I'll fire up my espresso machine.  😍  (There's really not too much caffeine in the very small serving.)

I like my coffee stronger than most. Just shovel the grains into the pan of water and bring to a boil. Two tall yeti cups of that tar will make my hair stand up and my eyes bug out. Thence I am ready to party all day.

My favorite is Café Bustelo. Deathwish is great, and local to us but costs an arm and a leg. Starbucks ground coffee is really good too. And of course you can’t forget Stewart’s!
