Hey 'yall. Just wanted to give a quick update on how I'm doing. Some people have messaged me because they've seen me a little more active on the boards lately. Not that I owe it to you (or if you even

Dang you guys...I knew this place was special but you all are showing just how special it really is.    I can't lie, my spirits are pretty dark right now but reading this thread has definite

More often than not, I'm known to be long winded (my wife will verify this). This isn't one of those times. What I can say is that we value, respect and love you. Our thoughts, prayers, and good medicine are with you in this journey. It'll be an emotional roller coaster but try to remain positive, Prayers work. Meditation works. Miracles can happen.

FWIW, my mom was a 40 year breast cancer survivor and that was when treatment protocols were primitive by today's standards. I believe it was in a large part due to her fierce belief that she would defeat it and she did.

Love & Light,

Positivity is 90% of the battle, I have experience with this and starring at your mortality is daunting.

We all battle in life, some greater than others. Prayers for you and your loved ones.

Strength in the Lord and Spirit .

Fight hard

@NorthernBasser, Galen, keeping you in my prayers!  Cancer is a B****!  Best Wishes, Randy.

I'm definitely trying to stay positive through all this. I lost my mom a few days ago, so I don't think 2025 can get much worse. But I do know I now have an amazing angel looking over me now.

Happy V-Day to you all. I love each and every one of you, buuuut....

Most good men would have already folded given the incredibly tough luck you've been dealt recently.   I'm terribly sorry to learn about your mother.   She's still watching over you!

I pray I have your strength, tenacity, and resolve should I face a similar tough period in my life.    You're a role model for us all.

You’re like the #1 gear junkie on here!

I'm never on this section hardly.

Dont you give up, and if you haven’t thus far get a second or even a third opinion. I worked in Healthcare for a decade and I’ve seen more than you can imagine. Miracles happen. Doctors are wrong many times. I’ve personally witnessed and been involved in seeing the impossible become possible and becoming many more years on the earth.
Sometimes, miracles happen, I’ve seen it and most who have worked in healthcare have too.

My condolences to you over your mother. ✝️✝️✝️

Peace.

@NorthernBasser I’ve been contemplating giving my thoughts on here but the above quoted has made me feel compelled to share a story about my MIL who had a brain bleed caused by a fall 18 years ago give or take. They drilled 3 holes in her head to relieve the pressure and drain the blood and didn’t give her a great chance of beating the odds. I’ll never forget my former boss receiving a phone call from my wife and coming to get me to send me to the hospital to say my final goodbye only to find out my MIL had not only made it through the night but is still with us today and her chief surgeon coming to my wife and FIL saying it was a true miracle and he had no other explanation medically or otherwise to provide. My wish for you is that you’re given the same miracle that medicine has no explanation for. Don’t give up.

2 miracles, the first one is of Dr. Anthony Cicoria (my former orthopedic surgeon)  who was struck by lightning and had a NDE. Because of the lightning strike, he became an "acquired savant" who then became a classical pianist.

An academic neurosurgeon Dr. Eban Alexander contracted a rare & devastating meningoencephalitus infection, has an ultra real NDE, and shares his miraculous recovery and transformation.

Testimony’s are powerful medicine.

I will keep you in my prayers

@NorthernBasser sending prayers your way.

Reach out to the American Cancer Society and inquire about their Hope Lodges. They may be able to help provide a tiny something to look forward to during treatment.

I'm sorry I am a little late to see your post. I'm praying for you. It is tough to have the right words now but you're part of our community here on BR. Love you bro.
