That’s actually not true here. We had more snow pre Xmas. Way more.

Not in my yard....I think it maxed at 8" around Yule...I have deeper snow here now than I did then.

Gotta remember, the Cities have bands....Coon Rapids could get 10" while Minnetonka area gets maybe 2"-3".

They keep telling me it's going to end eventually. But I'm really concerned that my Qualude stash might not last that long. 🥴 A-Jay

It snowed here today after being 70+ yesterday

My heart bleeds for you, Russ.

We only had a dusting of snow after several tornados in the the area with some power outages this weekend. Unfortunately, last week when I turned the water back on for my detached workshop we found we had a frozen pipe burst a couple months ago that we didn't know about until I turned the water on.

This is the ceiling in a basement bedroom after the water had been running for about 30 minutes. The next pic is what the bedroom looked like after the water mitigation company finished removing all of the damaged materials. This is a blessing in disguise, however. I found that the pipe froze because a bumpout cantilivered to the house was not properly insulated and I found evidence of THREE other pipe repairs in the same vicinity (1 to the shop and 2 to a hose spigot line). I'm going to insulate it correctly, move the pipes, and assure it never happens again. I thank the Lord for insurance. We have a $2500 deductible and just the mitigation was $4000. I have to do the corrections to the insulation and plumbing myself because that's a design problem and not covered, but everything caused by water damage is on insurance. Even a new bed. Really cuts into time for spring fishing, however. Being a grown up is stupid.

A friend of my brother-in-law's place in northern Wisconsin. Drifted in by yesterday's storm.

Haha yeah I saw central and northern WI got more snow than we did, plus a lot of wind. That'll do it.

We were forecasted tornados, schools closed , warnings issued, and actually some around us got hit. I had a new roof put on Saturday and with no hot weather to seal the shingles, I was afraid I was going to have a lot of damage. By some miracle, the weather bypassed my area other than some gusty winds and rain. I don’t know how it happened, I was glued to the weather radar until midnight and it just seemed to part every time a cell came through. Divine intervention I guess.

Called baseball in 80 degree weather on Saturday, went to dinner on Sunday with shorts on (about 75). Fast forward about 6 hrs and it’s tornado time. Fast forward about 6 more hours and the temps are 32 and snowing. If the ground would’ve been cold and it stuck, we’d have probably gotten about 2” in the hour that it snowed. Gonna be 80 by Saturday. The high yesterday was 69° and that was at midnight.

It's supposed to be 60+ degrees here on Friday and Saturday.

The big melt is coming

We got just a few inches on Sunday...temps were single digits, and winds gusting to 50 MPH.

Friday they are calling for a high of 82, and a high of 83 on Saturday(!)

This is how much snow is left in my yard. A week ago, this pile was up to my waist.

I got a bit more than that in my front yard....mainly cause it's shaded from the house being so close to the street. Back yard is clear though....

June will be here before you know and so will your first glimpse of grass.

I’m laughing with you of course. 😁

You're probably not that far off.

I'll post when the last of this mess evaporates.

We were mid 70's yesterday, high 30's today. March weather in OH is bipolar. I may as well be snowed in. I've caught one small muskie in seven outings. 😂🤦‍♂️

24 March 2026 @0745

While taking the dogs out this morning in the light snow flurries, I saw the first Robin of the spring ! And as we we were heading inside, heard the first Canadian Goose overhead. Both really good signs that there is light at the end of this hard water tunnel.
