The trail I used to fish did a polygraph for the winners of the Tournament Of Champions as standard procedure, not only because a complaint was made. At the local level, they caught the release boat for a Wednesday night trail "planting" fish for the Saturday trail. What they were doing is releasing the small to average sized fish in the middle of the lake as they were supposed to. They were releasing the big fish on the bottom side of a spillway in the back of a 2 mile long creek. The fish would stay there because of the oxygen and bait. While, they still had to catch the fish for the Saturday tournament, they increased their odds. I've been out of the circuit for 10 years and do not recall the outcome to the offenders.

Wish I could help. Been many years since I fished it.

I have 1 criteria for where I live. I'm at the top of the food chain. Don't want to have to worry about letting the grandkids or pets out and they get eaten by a gator or bit by a poisonous snake or insect or mauled by a bear. I'd rather take my chances in Chicago, at least I know where and where not to live/go plus, the food here is the best on the planet as is Lake Michigan water. Seriously, I have my sights on getting out of IL in the next 18-24 months. I am no longer at the top of the food chain here. Sad. I will probably continue to work here as the money is good and just live in a collar state.

Meat was still good. Steaked and filleted. Not sure if it was a steelhead or a coho. Definitely not a king. The kings have already transformed into zombies. It was the only bite all day(3hrs to be exact). Got it on a blue and chrome KO Wobbler. Saw 3 other fish caught. One on a spoon and the other 2 on skein which is generally what people use this late in the season. Caught her in Kenosha Harbor. She was preggos. I'm heading to Sturgeon Bay next weekend with the grandson. He wasn't with me today, I was with my pops. I did stop by his house on the way home to show him the fish and told him we would be fishing for them next weekend. I kept the skein so we can bobber fish. I'd love to see him try to real in a fish bigger than 15".

I've caught them on jerk baits Biggest cat I ever encountered was on Guntersville. No clue as to the size. I snagged her in the back prefishing for a tourney. Might have gone 50lbs if I had to guess, maybe more. I fought the fish for 45 minutes because I wanted to get my jerkbait back. She rolled at the boat and I lost my bait. Biggest one I ever landed was on Erie. Channel cat maybe 25lbs.
